We were staying at the Ibis Hotel around the corner at the end of August 2015. We had just come back from a long day of site-seeing in the city and were quite hungry for something spicy and flavorful! We were not disappointed at all. The service was super friendly and helpful — they made suggestions for us based on our inquiries. We were super happy to support a local establishment that has been the oldest Indian/Pakistani restaurant in the neighborhood. We tried a variety of lamb dishes(two heat profiles), rice, papa-dam, and naan. Yummy! We loved the food so much we visited twice during our stay. Both times were spot-on for service and flavorful dishes. Great portions — we left quite full and satisfied. Would not hesitate to come back during our next London visit. Thank you for a great couple of meals.

We live in Fulham and order delivery from Masala Express now on a regular basis. We find it to be consistently flavourful, well-spiced(and the«spicy» dishes really are nice and spicy!), and generously portioned. We usually order through the website«hungryhouse.com» and with every £20 order you receive a free veggie dish; with every £30 order you receive a free chicken dish. We always enjoy the leftovers the next day! The staff is always friendly on the phone and troubleshoots solutions if they’re out of a dish. The only star off is for the Naan… which we only ordered once because it was terrible — hard, flavorless, just yuck. Paratha is fine.

I agree with Emily… Living in central Nottingham, I was visiting London, for an exhibition at Tate Modern and staying over near Earls Court/West Brompton tube. This take away was recommended to me, and I enjoyed every mouthful. One of the best I have tried. I have not been to India or Pakistan, but to restaurants in Nottingham, Sparkbrook, Birmingham, and similar café style restauants in many cities in the UK and Europe. The food is obviously well prepared, the subtleties of taste and texture are excellent and of course the breads and rice tops! Yes, maybe the sauces just a little on the oily side(not much), but you do need this to carry the flavours. The price would give no indication of an absolutely excellent standard of cooking, this is by far one of those best take aways!

This is the best place in town to get a take away Indian. Having been to India, I can assure you no where in London will be beaten, and certainly not at these prices. The only problem is that the food is sometimes a bit too oily. Other than that, it is certainly the best Indian I have ever tried, and is run by friendly Indians and Pakistanis.
