When you have takeaway in your name, I am afraid.
I’ll say it and I mean it. I have these images of terrible spots with poor hygiene throwing greasy items into takeaway bags for us to not really enjoy at the end of the night.
But Massala is a surprise and a half. They claim to be «Massala takeaway with a touch of class» and I think they nail it. I had it sent to my house and it came quickly and well presented. I got my standard of Chicken Tikka Massala and it was a healthy sized portion that was as sweet and tangy.
I haven’t been in the store but it seems nice when I walk by. I may have to stop in to try something soon. Is it the most gourmet Indian food in the world? No. But is it better than your average takeaway, especially with takeaway in the name, no question.
