So far so good. We dropped in for their ‘soft opening’ on Saturday to peruse all the imported Italian goodies. It’s what you would expect: cheeses, cured meats, pastas, truffle oil, olives, wine, coffee, 00 and semolina flours for pasta-making, and the like. The front window displays a few Italian sweets, while the coffee machine shares space with the till. There’s a small coffee area along the opposite wall where you can stand and sip an espresso or cappuccino. And, wow, is the espresso good. If you’re in the area, stop in just for a coffee. Because it’s so new, they were still putting prices on things, so I can’t really judge cost. However, I’ll definitely be back for some more delicious coffee and hopefully things will be priced then. It seems like a great addition to this little stretch of shops.
