It’s a very small place so better to take away. Not a massive selection, but what you get is fairly cheap, tastes OK. Cheap and cheerful, there are better places around, just not nearby, so this is convenient for a quick bite. About as authentic as the Easter Bunny though(sorry if you believe!)

Not impressed — overpriced and the person serving me used hands to make the burrito without gloves. ingredients had been sitting out for a long time. But stupidly I was hungry — unfortunatly I paid for this mistake the next day — a very bland burrito went straight through me. I have since discovered this place got 1 star in the food hygiene ratings. Avoid at all costs. See link for rating.

Doubtful that a Mexican has ever crossed this doorway. They would’ve surely made it their life mission to improve their country’s reputation by shutting this place down or improving the food greatly. Luckily, the chance is quite low that a real Mexican will ever step foot in here. Why? Well, according to the 2001UK Census, 5,049 Mexican-born people were living in the UK and 2. this is not Mexican food, and they wouldn’t be foolish enough to go here looking for it(as I was). It seemed to me to be a good option(better than frozen pizza from the corner store) on my way home Friday night. It looked to be somewhat of a homegrown Chipotle… but, worse. Much worse. My burrito was so soggy I could barely eat it, the ingredients cooked beyond recognition then stuffed into a gummy cheap burrito casing, wrapped in tin foil, set on a panini gril and then put in a paper bag for me to «enjoy.» Besides the lack of authenticity(HELL, I can even deal with inauthentic as long as it tastes GOOD!) the space is dim and sort of depressing. The girl behind the counter was nice enough and got me on my way quickly, and I was so hungry that I ate the whole burrito… but I assure you, I did not feel good about it. Mexican food in a country with very little Mexican population is a recipe for disaster if you are looking for fine cuisine. Noted. I’ll save my cravings and find something else to bask in…

We tried the chicken burrito and chicken nachos. Now, my standards for London Mexican food are already extremely low but this place served my nachos cold. so can things really get any worse?

The snack meal that I had here was reasonable enough and fairly cheap. However, express was a fiction, although it was not particularly busy it took ages for me to be served and there was a further wait to pay. Mexican slow-coach would be a better name. I would go here again but only for convenience and economy, it is not a destination. The seating is at hard benches, so not very inviting.

I had a burrito here one Friday night. Woeful. When I saw the beans being added I started to have my doubts. They had no sour cream at all and they never put the jalepenos into the burrito that I said yes to when we were asked if we wanted jalepenos. The beef mince used in the chilli was too fine or something, It reminded me of quarn mince. The burrito tasted awful. Avoid is my advice.

Overpriced and very underwhelming. When this place 1st opened they figured that the 1st lot of business was a sign that they could mark up their prices by 30% within a few weeks. Sorry but they got it wrong — people were simply trying the new Mexican place. Now they realise it isn’t very good the prices remain high and haven’t come down to match the below average food. Make the Taco’s cheaper again and you may gain a few more stars

Unfortunately this place is crap. Enchiladas are burritos with sauce on them. Did anyone not tell them enchiladas are made with corn tortillas, are smaller and are not burritos? 50p extra for guacamole on a vegetarian item is ridiculous. And the guac was also bad, tasted from a tin. Prices high, there are much better options out there(like Chilango). The Whitecross market burrito van is soooo much better. Friendly staff though

WOW, is this place terrible. Cold, hard and stiff tortilla, cracking and leaking. Cold, hard and stiff cheese, plastic-y and inert. Hard, leathery and unchewable beef. Pinto beans primarily can juice. Chives in the sour cream. They got it wrong from every angle. We got a kick out of the ridiculousness of just how tragically awful our«Mexican» food was.

Returned to try the breakfast burrito. Plumped for the third option on the menu: potato, chorizo and cheese. Only received potato and chorizo in a box — not even a tortilla to encase them! Maybe they’ve updated the training since my visit, but I’m still incensed by that food order.

Disclaimer: Sorry but I’m from Oakland, California. I have very specific tastes when it comes to mexican food. So I happened upon this place while looking for the Circus space. They were kind of on the way back to the tube. They have the basics that resemble burrito fixings. But they also offered an asian flavored rice or something? I just bought a basic grilled chicken burrito. Meh it was ok. It was missing something. Not enough flavor? Too tomato-y? Something. If I’m going to be in the neighborhood more often I might come back and check some other things out. Kind of pricey for the quality but it would be convenient just grabbing something on the way home.

My standards for Mexican here are starting very low. This place surprised me. I had a chicken fajita wrap(ie burrito minus beans or rice) and it was tasty. It is affordable(big burrito = £6.25) and on my way home. If this were in CA, I’d not go back, but since it is on the way home and«fine,“I’ll probably be back. Chips were decent considering I doubt they make them themselves and the medium salsa had a surprisingly potent kick.
