Huge portions and the price is right. I would recommend sharing the mains as one for each could be a bit too much food. The food quality is allright for a place like this.

I find the food here is pretty tasteless and junky to be honest, but I guess you are getting what you pay for. If you go for something pretty simple it will be ok. More of an Asian fast food joint staffed by students.

I went to Miso with friends who raved about it.
In the town centre, near Kelsey Park. It was remarkably quiet for a Saturday afternoon.
The price range is very good value for money and despite this they do special offers too.
The service was basic and patchy.
I made the mistake of ordering one of their specials, Pad Thai. Not a version of Pad Thai I’m familiar with. Lots of of sweet chilli sauce?! It wasn’t very appetizing. My friends’ plates looked much more appealing, too sweet and sickly.
I haven’t completely written Miso off, as the Pad Thai isn’t their usual fair. So, I may well give them a second chance.

I popped into Miso quite late a few nights ago, to grab some food with a friend. To be clear, this place isn’t a Michelin style restaurant which is going to blow your socks off with its fine cuisine! However, it is quick, decent food with really good service.
The staff are approachable and friendly but also the food is quite good. This time round we had a few starters and shared a main. The Chicken Chow Mien was good.
The only bad point I would say is that my Diet Coke was flat. Other than that, I occasionally pop in here and will continue to do so.
The bill was very reasonable as well!

Ok food, Large portions and fair value however service was not very friendly and the restaurant itself needs a make over.

This is my favourite Miso to visit. I have been to quite a few around different parts of London and this one never gets it wrong. Portion sizes are amazing and the price you pay is amazing. I think this is my favourite because the staff know me a little now and they’re all so helpful and friendly, they top up your water without being asked, they’re very attentive. I always look forward to heading to the Beckenham Miso and will be going there very soon!

A Wagamama clone. Fast service, good value for money. Tasty, but not memorable food.

Where can you dine out and get a full tummy and change from a tenner ?
MISO — any of their branches. I think I even have my own seat in the Beckenham branch — they seem to show me to it everytime…
Fabulous noodle soups — Chinese based miso — my fav is the vegetable and tofu. I suffer from migraine if I come in contact with MSG and have never had any nasty effects following my visits to MISO.
They don’t do a minimum spend so you can have a bowl of soup for under £5 — and when I say bowl I don’ t mean any of your little dishes but more the size that you would give to a large dog… and slurp away. I dare anyone to get to the bottom of the bowl without a big sigh…
Plus point they do take away too.

This place is just as perfect for those long-​drawn out w/​e lunches with friends as it is those hasty mid-​week family dinner grab. The food is cheap, tasty and the portions generous. I love their seafood mix and would heartily recommend it, the spicy beef noodle stock is also very nice.
The saki is dangerous — I was spinning out last time I had some so unless you are sharing, don’t attempt to finish one on your own: oops:
It is well situated and can be found at the lower end of the high street (closer to the train station than the odeon). There is also ample paid parking on church road opposite. You can also take out which I was not aware of but with food being cooked this fast why bother!
Starters, Main x 3, juice, water and 2 x glasses of red wine came in under £35 so all in all very good value for money. The manager is also very very nice and the staff are generally attentive. The only cons I can note is that there is no hot water in the toilets.
In fact, I think I might just find myself back there for lunch tomorrow or is twice in one week overkill I wonder?!

I love the Miso chain of restaurants — the one in Bromley looks posher, but the food here is just as good — great for large bowls of noodles and yummy starters — the ebi dumplings are divine, as is the deep fried squid. It’s quick and also very child friendly — wide benches like most noodle bars but they have clip on high chairs to pop on the ends of the tables.
Not fancy but good value and very tasty — raw juice is also excellent

Maybe its me but I really wanted the MISO Noodle bar to be ok. The place looks great and the food is priced cheaply and it is informal so you could go quite a lot just for your dinner instead of cooking but for veggies the food is really bad. I honestly could cook it better myself and I would never say that if I didn’t think it was true. We used the 2 for 1 vouchers we got from the paper and I have tried every veggie dish on the menu but they are all very bland. I think if I ate Crispy duck which looking around looks like a Beckenham favourite I would like this place and I think my boyfriend liked his food but he did feel sorry for me as I tried to dig though a plate of steamed rice with a couple of carrots to accompany it. I know veggies are a dying breed, I know we are pathetic but give us a dish with egg fried rice in it and we will be happy!

Miso’s is one of the best noodle bars I’ve ever been to and have had many good times here with my friends. The prices are very good and you’ll never leave there with an empty stomach. There is a huge variety of noodles so you’ll be spoiled for choice. This is definitely a place to take a group of people because it adds to a night out perfectly.
