Missouri Angel

Went there on a Friday evening, for dinner with friends. Ours was the only occupied table in the restaurant, which was a bit surprising, given that it was a Friday. The staff was very attentive, the food came out quickly, the place is sparkling clean and beautifully decorated.
I had the chicken liver parfait which was superb and a peppered steak, juicy and cooked to perfection.
We all had only positive things to say about the restaurant and would definitely go back.

Granted, it’s been a couple of years since I was there. But, I liked my experience — perhaps being biased by certain geographical predisposition.
The staff were very friendly, and I was able to chat up the bar tender and proprietor while eating dinner. The owner was looking to set up a barbecue restaurant in the City. He favored the ‘St Louis’ style. I had ribs. The sauce was tasty, but not over done, with a sweet influence (akin to a KC bbq). I was in London for a two-​week business visit. Ate at a lot of different places. Meat was generally … okay. This was one of the better places, at that time, in my experience. Though, not many of my colleagues from London had heard of it. I think it might have been new, and it is on the eastern edge of the City. Fairly close to the Tower of London, as one can see on the map.
