Banh Mi: Base: Matcha Baguette(Just a novelty thing. It was like any other baguette) Filling: Shredded Lemon Grass Chicken Sauce: Cilantro Sriracha Mayo The banh mi definitely has elements of a Vietnamese banh mi — the baguette, meat, and pickled vegetable. The shredded lemon grass chicken and cilantro sriacha mayo combination made it taste like a regular chicken salad sandwich. So don’t expect a Vietnamese banh mi, but do expect a Vietnamese French fusion banh mi.

I’vebeen here twice now, one for the duck&mango, and then for the brisket&spicy mayo on their new menu. Both were filled to the brim with deliciousness, and I love the pickled veg. I had my brisket on a black baguette that I forget the name of, and it had a really nice consistency and was a novelty I’ll get again. There are generous sized sandwiches for the price, and one thing is clear, these guys know how to cook interesting flavors. I am a bit sad they felt they needed to deconstruct their menu, I always prefer a tailored sandwhich, but the good news is you can just tell them to make the best tasting combination of things, and they will!

Banh mi, except with proper French baguette and slightly more pan Asian than Vietnamese flavors inside. I had a tasty duck and mango concoction. Service was excellent. Would stop by again if in the area. Don’t miss out on the chili sauce, which I got in a tub on the side. Transporting it onto the baguette is challenging but well worth the trouble.
