So i absolutely love Muffinski’s. When i was still in the area, i would try to go every Saturday or every other Saturday. If you are gluten free and are hankering for an amazing muffin the size of your hand with a perfectly crispy top… you NEED to stop here. I converted even my non-gluten free buddies into trying the gf muffins… because they are that good. My favorites have to be one of the combos of white chocolate with raspberry/fruit or the chocolate muffin.

Can we talk about how cute the name of this place is? Just off Covent Garden, Muffinski’s offers muffins, caffeine, fro-yo, and soup/sandwiches. It has a mom-and-pop feel; muffins are displayed in the baking tins and everything else is assembled to order. The muffins themselves pass as home-made: the crumb isn’t overly loose or refined, and there’s a significant crust, both indicating less processing. For the lay muffin eater: these are things you want. The toffee, nut, and chocolate muffin was delicious, though a touch sweet. The gluten-free strawberry and white chocolate muffin was less delicious(thanks to the gluten-free flour mix they’re using) but packed with fruit. Coffee drinks were awesome. I would recommend avoiding the gluten-free options(alas; a dash of almond flour would make for a less dense and better-flavoured muffin, but they’re probably doubling them as nut-allergen-free or somesuch) and veering towards the fruit-containing muffins as a matter of course. And definitely get yourself a coffee to go with. As an aside, the muffins look a touch small, but they definitely tide you over. Don’t let the size fool you.

I can eat muffins and frozen yogurt all week long if it weren’t for the inadequate placement of the shop. It’s far away from my office and actually quite hidden from the street. If you don’t know that it’s there you might miss out on the opportunity to taste some out of this world muffins and other sweet pastries. The guys also offer some low-fat options for the ones that look after their figure. I also tend to do so but I would really prefer to taste a muffin’s original taste than to try to lie to my stomach with these low-fat wanna-bes. You can also go with the healthy option of frozen yogurt plus some fruit on top of it or blended in with the yogurt. I prefer it on top as that way the taste is more definitive. The space inside is neat and tidy and the staff was generally sweet and friendly.

As a celiac I’m always on the lookout for restaurants/cafes/bakeries that are able to cater to us gluten-challenged folk. Muffinskis is easy to reach(near the Covent Garden Marketplace) and they keep their GF muffins on the top shelf in the bakery case — my favorite was the raspberry/white chocolate GF muffin. A nice place for those with(and without) gluten intolerance to grab a treat and wander around the marketplace and/or watch those omnipresent street performers!

This place serves the bestyogurt here in London. They can blend the fruit into your yogurt which is really incredible. The raspberry white chocolate is really a treat and the frozen yogurt is definitely special. They also have a natural flavour, where you can get any kind of fresh fruit that blended into your yogurt or as a topping. It’s a nice treat to everyone looking for a delicious and healthy food.

Muffinski’s is a purveyor of real muffins — not over-sweetened pseudo-cupcakes(which is what we usually get in the US when we buy muffins) but delicious bundles of flour and fruit, with just the right balance of tart and sweet. And blessedly they’ve always got a large selection of gluten-free muffins on hand, which is great if you’re looking for a snack to eat while you stroll through the madness of Covent Garden.

Wanted to grab a muffin for the long plane ride back over the Atlantic, so found this one Unilocal. The place is cute and the staff nice. The website is not particularly informative(no hours). I had my heart set on the dark chocolate ginger, but alas, the girl behind the counter informed me that is a special muffin and they did not have it today. I opted for the 3 for 5 pounds deal and got the raspberry/blackberry, chocolate, and ginger/raisin. None were too sweet. I found the chocolate rather disappointing as it had a strange soured taste(maybe the quality of chocolate?). The berry one was probably the best, but not that great. The ginger had a little bit of a kick. Would’ve liked to try the froyo. Also, many muffins boasted 99% fat free(I’m partial to fat myself).

I was passing by and noticed the sign that read ‘Muffins you’ll remember’ and just couldn’t resist checking it out. I had a blackberry & raspberry muffin and loved it. It wasn’t overly sweet and really helped to fuel me up for the morning. The muffin was packed with fruit and the inside was moist and outside had a nice baked crunch to it. Yeah, it was a muffin to remember!

Muffinski’s, cakeski’s, drinkski’s and most importantly, frozen yoghurtski’s! The frozen yoghurt here is delicious — plenty of flavours, a selection of toppings and they will even blend natural yoghurt with fruit of your choice to create your own flavour! It’s considerably cheaper than the likes of Snog and just as tasty! I thought the small size was more than enough for a cooling treat on a warm day! So unassuming(on the verge of looking a little run-down) from the outside and not exactly ship, shape and shiny on the inside, but this is a great place to stop for a treat whether you go for a naughty muffin or cake or a nice guilt-free frozen yoghurt with fruit. Another highlight? Free wifi! I shall be taking advantage of this treasure in the summer! Roll on hot and sunny days!

Enjoyed a delectable banana honey muffin and café almandine from here. My bf’s savory one(think it was the pesto feta?) was even better. –1 star since they charge more if you dine in.

Intrigued by the name I stepped into Muffinski. I wasn’t expecting much, I was wrong. The minute you enter the store you are hit by the most wonderful aroma of baked goodness. I got the Blueberry muffin which was just awesome. Almost as awesome as the ones I make… if I say so myself. Hubby got a chocolate chip muffin, which was also very good. I love the chocolate in Europe, I dint know what it is… well actually I do. Milk is pasteurised at a lower temp than in the states, and the fat content in the chocolate is higher, hence the yummy taste. They sell various flavors of frozen yogurt(called Frozen custard here in Illinois). I didn’t try it so I cannot comment. I do plan to try it next time… tummy was kinda full with the blueberry muffin.

DELICIOUS!!! Their frozen yogurt is absolutely divine. Here’s the catch: they have the natural and chocolate flavour. BUT if you choose the natural flavour, you can get any kind of fresh fruit(there are tons of fruits to choose, they have a long list) BLENDED into your yogurt or as a topping. But blended! YUM! SO delicious, I had raspberries blended into my natural yogurt with a bit of chocolate on the side. Incredible. Salivating again just thinking about how it was. I think this place has some of the best yogurt in London. The fact that you can blend the fruit into your yogurt is really incredible, I never have seen any yogurt shop do that before. But don’t expect any fancy, new, SNOG like décor. This place is older and also has other options, as they are known not so much for their froyo, but for their muffins, which looked good as well. But their yogurt is amazing and I recommend! I’ll be back.

The raspberry white chocolate here is such a treat! They have such a wide selection though, so it may be hard to choose. It’s such a cute little spot. I can’t wait to go back.

I’m new to London and my friend, a local, has been taking me to all her favourite food places. I mentioned to her how I loved frozen yoghurt and she, very enthusiastically, dragged me to Muffinski’s. Muffinski’s specialises in muffins(of course they do!) and though the variety was rather enticing, on our visit, we went straight for the frozen yoghurt. It’s fat free and blended with fruits of your choice(I chose strawberries and blackcurrants) — there are so many to try! The result was refreshing and delicious and totally guilt free! It was freezing outside, but we braved the weather and ate our fro-yo’s as we toured covent garden.

Good for frozen yoghurt with fresh fruit(frozen though) whizzed through it while you wait. This makes for a healthy snack which is not overly sweet. My daughter loved it — but I like my yoghurt icecreams a little sweeter.

Small but perfectly formed. That’s how i would describe the shop and the muffins here. There’s a great range of muffins as soon as you walk through the door. I’d recommend the white chocolate and raspberry, but there’s also a good selection of wheat free muffins too. My friend especially favours their frozen yoghurt, available in a huge range of flavours, but i’m all about the muffins. Unfortunately their coffee isn’t that great so i do’t tend to ‘eat in’ any more. If i’m feeling guilty about my calorific muffin purchase i’ll take advantage of the multi-buy deal and fatten up my colleagues too!

Oh what! Muffinskis? Could it be that they sell a huge selection of muffins. Yes it could. Of course this is not the only thing, but they do have a lot of Muffin flavours to pick and choose from. The oat and blueberry deepfill one is particularly amazing, as is the carrot cake style one. Please, if you ever walk past here, treat yourself. The location is great, right next to covent garden. Aside from the muffins, the coffe and tea are great. They boast about their frozen yoghurt and that too is good, but not neccesarily why I would go there. The name of this place really is a give away about what is delicious and why you should step into the cosy café and give yourself up to the baked goodness within. It is small and cosy, with just enough seating space for true muffin fans.

I had never tasted a real muffin until I want to Muffnski’s in Covet Garden. The small café is unique in featuring fresh handmade organic muffins absent of fillers. I tried one drizzled in toffee and topped off with pecans. I also recommend trying a fat free frozen yoghurt, I indulged in one that was made with fresh blueberries straight from the freezer! I was delighted to know that the café turns up the heat, making it easier to focus on the goodness of the sweets rather than the coldness of my feet! The café also serves the regular coffees and teas, along with various Panini’s.
