This is one of the WORST Chinese restaurants that I have ever been to, and I have been to a few thousands of them on four different continents. Most Chinese restaurants in London Chinatown are awful, but this is absolutely the worst. Apparently, MW Buffet is run by the London Chinese mafia, and it shows in the horrible way that they treat the customers(like dirt). Do not go there. Try Chinese restaurants outside of Chinatown in London.

3.5÷5 Let’s face it… you can’t expect a Jason Atherton or Heston Blumenthal experience at an all-you-can-eat spot for £8.50 in downtown London. With that being said, MW Chinese Buffet is a well-run(and busy) Chinese buffet with above average food. If you’re a meat lover this is definitely your kind of spot– roast duck, sweet & sour chicken, honey bqq pork ribs, pork cakes with thai sauce, etc. There’s veggie options too, but not as prominent or appetizing as the meat selections. The downfall to the MW would be its dessert section, which is 90% fruit(most likely from a can) and 10% of this mysterious«jelly» dish– my friend had the honor to eat before I did and… I wasn’t pushed at all to try it myself. Service is nothing to rave about(it *is* a self-service buffet) — as long as they weren’t rude I don’t really care. Not sure if this is the best Chinese buffet in all of London, but it satisfied this relatively picky eater.

From looking at the food, it looked fabulous fresh and hot… Looks can be deceiving! Food was cold so had to dig deep for second round! Quality was OK but choice of deserts was poor. One final point they charge a 10% service charge… For what??? Helping yourself at the buffet… Aww thats nice of them!!! Wont be returning because guess what? My money will spend anywhere! :))
