I love Nails Inc. and I have for years. Hands down, they have the best new inventions on the market for nails, polishes etc. Last week I was desperately searching for their new topcoat that makes manicures seem like gel and make the polish last longer. I know, it’s a bit of a first world problem but since they don’t sell in Germany, I had limited time to get my hands on it. It was sold out everywhere. Online, Selfridges, John Levis, Debenhams, just everywhere! So I ended up going to the tiny Nails Inc. boutique in South Molton Street to test my luck a very last time. I was greeted nicely by store staff and they did have it. Though the space is tiny, there were three or four staff doing manicures at the same time. They are good. On in-store services but also in having all the latest goodies available when sold out everywhere else.

The reviews are not so good here… a bit strange. I am Queen of Super Picky Nails. I have never met a person who is more obsessed with nails compare to me. Not that I like funky, crazy design — in fact, I only put on gel polish — one or at most 2 colors, nothing fancy. However, if my nail polish CHIPS(even for a little bit), I cannot function at all. I have to drop everything to go repair my nails. (If I travel, I bring my own gel polish kit to DIY.) Considering how picky I am, Nails inc is really pretty good, especially for the London standard. I have been to a couple of «shady» nails salon here at a pretty expensive price. Now, I can’t say I like Nail inc’s 2 — week manicure. I can never get it to stay for 2 weeks. However, I really like their 3 weeks manicure. They do biosculpture gel with not that many color options, but with the colors they have, it really last for 3 weeks. With that, I can have a calm state of mind for 3 weeks before I need to get my nails redone without having to worry about fixing my nails. They are really amazing with fixing chips too! When I had problem, they redid my nails for free… not bad not bad.

I love Nails Inc’s products, and this shop has every colour in the book, but as a space it is just really unpleasant. Very small and cramped, strange lighting, and an overwhelming chemical smell. Yes, I know, nail polish smells… but this was so strong and concentrated, it was like there was no ventilation at all in there! I would rather get my nails done in one of their department store locations and avoid those fumes.

Heavenly manicure way too expensive. Also it really annoys me when the beautician has long fake nails as it prevents them from doing a proper job.

The manicure itself five stars. They have a fabulous selection of colours, I went for a lovely mint green which is from this seasons new collection. I also had a lovely technician called Christine. She took time and care over my hands and event put Glee on the telly in the background so I could veg out while getting my nails done. It’s fabulous in here, and if you can make it past the reception staff, you’ll be in for a treat. It’s an expensive salon, so maybe I’ll just come back for a treat!

Around Christmas I went to Nails Inc. to get my nails done in time for the party season and decided to take my little sister as a Christmas treat. After a bit of a mess-up with timings(the receptionist seemed fairly bored and disorganised) we finally sat down to get our manicures. The salon was a bit hot and stuffy and they really needed some ventilation as my head was spinning from the fumes but apparently they were about to refurbish so we can let them off :) My sister ended up waiting for 20 mins while mine started straight away but luckily as I was getting Minx nails and she was getting a French we still finished at the same time. The therapist who did my nails was really lovely though and my nails looked amazing which made up for it all. Although it was fairly expensive it was totally worth it and my nails lasted for a whole MONTH — amazing!

I find my visits here have been hit and miss, some technicians are excellent and I’ve had good results whereas others were not so good. However they do seem to have improved recentlyl The salon itself is lovely, its comfy and looks really nice and modern and I’ve found there is a nice chatty atmosphere here. My other gripe is the polishes themself, they use their own brand but I don’t find them longlasting and wished they would use Essie or OPI which have brilliant products and longlasting varnishes. Actually I have one more gripe — I think they are a bit too expensive!

AVOIDNAILSINCATALLCOST! Absolutely the worst salon I have ever had to deal with. The staff are so busy quarreling between themselves, my nails got battered and infected. The girl filed my nails that they were so thin that the skin was showing in the middle of the nail. That became inflamed and infected! When you ask for them to go easy, they ignore you and say they know what they are doing. Slap some polish on, while shouting at their colleagues. After 4 months of battling it out with head office for a refund on my loyalty card(another con from Nails Inc) they keep promising to refund me but never do. Its a nightmare and my nails are brittle and soft and just a mess. Plus, its not cheap!

Called into this branch as I had collected a £5 mini manicure voucher. This is only the second time that I have ever gone for a manicure and it is defiantely nice for a treat. The mini mancure is more basic, just shape your nails and paint with the colour of your choice. They certainly make it look easy! Staff were friendly and welcoming — would return for a treat!

Sit back and relax, while Nails Inc. takes the stress of living in a city off of your fingertips, literally. If you enjoy a life if luxury or want to look extra smart at your workplace, this is the place to go. This nail bar is a bit pricey, but worth it to those in search of glamour and beauty! I like the design of the nail bar, because it is set up to offer true maxing and relaxing. There are about a dozen of extra comfortable booths and an expansive range of colours to choose from! They offer the basic manicure and pedicure services, along with nail extensions and designs! Be prepared to spend around £30!
