First time at Nando’s. Also probably last. Breakfast was bland, the tea cup was small and the toast was mediocre, and everything took a long time to arrive(not good for an airport). Staff is great though.

I had never been to a Nando’s before, but I do love me some Peri Peri, so when the hubby wanted breakfast at this place, I was ecstatic! I ordered the English breakfast which came with eggs, chicken sausage(hot), portobello mushroom, tomato, baked beans, and fried potatos. I tried three of their sauces — hot, garlic, and creamy dressing(like ranch). They were all very good. It really filled me up before our plane took off. I wish there were one closer to me in LA because I would love to return to try their chicken. All in all a great experience, but the only downfall is the cashier. He seemed a bit slow and like he didn’t know what he was doing. Maybe it was too early for him, I’m not sure.

Same prices as outside, no surcharge for being in airport. Ordered two person platter to share. White meat, 4 chicken quarters. Spicy rice and coleslaw. Person gave us menus to review in line. Got seated quickly. V efficient.

I was not expecting to have a nandoes for breakfast, but anything goes when in Holiday mode. The restaurant is quite chilly so by the time I finished taking my foodie pics the food was not hot. I had the Nandoes Benedict which comes with flame grilled pieces of chicken served on a Portuguese roll. It was topped with peri hollandaise and peri salt. I think I will have to try it again and eat it whilst it’s hot! My hubby had the nandoes breakie and I really loved the corny brownies which I dipped in what I think was chilli jam. When they served them they were cold and addressed this by serving us a side of hot ones.

Nandos for breakfast. What an awesome revolutionary idea! I was so excited that I have since been telling more people than I really should! Why am I unreasonably happy about this? Because I don’t like English breakfasts and because i also generally don’t like most airport food options, finding them both overpriced and uninspired. So finding one of my favourite chains and then additionally discovering that you can order some of the lunch/dinner mains(burger, ½ chicken, ¼ chicken) even in the morning time, had me all aflutter! And the price was not bad at all. I chose the burger(and the chips artistically dusted with Nando’s salt) over the fractional chickens and obviously really enjoyed it. They have all the usual selections of sauces to play with. The only minor setback was that the heat seemed to be dialled down from the usual fire provided. I suspect this could be because in an airport they likely get more people unfamiliar with the Nando’s concept, unaware that even the hot is actually quite challenging. I was erring on the side of caution, having been awake barely an hour, so will just crank it up a notch on my order next time. And there will definitely be a next time. Whenever I next fly out of this terminal! And the price didn’t even seem particularly inflated given the airport location!

Ummmm pretty bad Nandos. Burnt corn on the cob, old fries… I guess it’s because it’s in an airport! Oh well.

It is ok here for an airport. We ordered two churrasco thigh Burgers and sweet potato as a side dish. Airport prices but still not too bad at £15 each, also better food than some of the other places at this terminal. The place looked clean and a nice view of the airport. Because of the location and the price I will go there again if I’m in the terminal.

Throughly enjoyed my peri– peri extra hot butterfly burger with spicy rice. Nando’s never disappoints me. Wish I could take Nando’s back with me to California. Friendly helpful staff, great music(they play kizomba music(Angola music) and interesting décor.

I have seen this chain in numerous places around the world, so I decided to give it a go given the limited choices in the terminal. The good: The staff is very nice, the area is clean and it has a good view of the tarmac. The bad: The food is uninteresting and flavorless. Even though they pride themselves on the different sauces they offer, these do little to enhance the overall flavor or experience. I ordered the Grilled Chicken and the sweet potato wedges. Neither had any flavor whatsoever, the grilled chicken breast was one of the blandest pieces of chicken I have ever had and the fact that you smear some sauce on top of it after you cook it does not help the matter. The grilled sweet potato wedges were OK but the large chunks barely fit in the little dipping cup they provided. It´s possible that I erred by choosing the wrong sandwich, be that as it may, I would take a Chick-Fil-A sandwich over this any day of the week.
