500th reivew and an FTR? BAMB. So, the National Art Collections Fund does an incredibly nifty card called the art pass. For a paltry £40 a year, you get to go to loads of National Trust houses for free, small museums that normally charge for free or 50% and major exhibitions for 50%. And Kew Gardens! I am not sure how Kew Gardens got in, but you get to go there for 50% off too. Bye bye myriad of different museum cards, bye bye expensive«donations»; hello new and cheaper way to live a cultured life. Pro: 1 card for everything across England, for a whole host of cultural pursuit No longer need to worry about where your loyalty lies. Money efficient way of feeling you did good for the art charities Only 1 frigging card in your wallet! Cons: No queue jumping Not sure what the Art Fund actually does as 40 pounds probably just bought me 1 brush stroke of a Titian You still have to buy actual tickets every time you want to go to an exhibition The dual passes are quite confusing because it needs to be a named user so can’t really bring a guest for cheaps with you to exhibitions. AWESOME.
