With a wonderful, full list therapeutic services from massages to acupuncture, facials to mani-​pedis Neal’s Yard is a one stop shop for relaxation and peace of mind. It sits on a sweet little street near the green and away from busy George St. There are two therapy rooms (book a massage with Janice, she’s amazing!) and a welcoming front room full of organic beauty products, essential oils, supplements, candles, teas… the list goes on and on.

In a pretty lane, off busy George Street, you’ll find this haven of calm and healthy inspiration. Soothing aromatherapeutic scents greet you as soon as you enter. It’s a small but charming premises and very browsing-​friendly. You can get all the renowned NYR products here; they’ll weigh-​out your herbs and pour out your tinctures, to order. Be prepared to wait though as it’s pretty popular at times
It’s not instantly obvious but there are a couple of treatment rooms at the back of the store with a wide range of complementary therapies on offer, varying on a daily basis. There’s an informative guide if you need help in selecting your treatment. Last-​minute availability is a possibility but for most of their practitioners you’ll need to book well ahead. One of the special ‘secrets’ here is that some therapists offer low-​price treatments — around £25 per hour — so, if you can get an appointment, it’s a great opportunity to try something new.
