New River Sport & Fitness

This place has awful customer service. I paid to play football for an hour with a group of 10. First of all we aren’t allowed in until everyone is there and paid, which is fine if you haven’t got a five minute walk to the pitches. We spent at least 10 minutes of our hour going over the fence to get the ball as the nets are nowhere near high enough.
After our hour was up, with no interest in health and safety we were left, dangerously in pitch black because the lights were turned off without any warning, the whole facility was actually left in darkness.
I’m not someone who complains for no reason but it would have been nice if one of the three or four people who were not doing anything inside the building came and told us our time was up.
We spoke to someone who said he was the manager but when it came for him to answer questions he said «I’m not the general manager» Well sorry, but we are paying customers so as far as we were concerned you are!!!
He started getting irate, acting unprofessional and didn’t deal with our situation properly which clearly goes to show either there is a total lack of care or there is little or no customer service training to the staff here and it is, once again a facility that couldn’t care less just make sure you pay them.
I won’t be going back here, I’d rather continue going to somewhere that charges more and has better morales and more respect for paying customers.

New River Sports Centre is a little difficult to get to by transport, but driving is easy, there is a car park and you will always find a space, unless an event is being held, or it is a Friday Sunday morning where they sometimes hold a ‘car boot sale’.
I have been using the centre for years, they do not have a swimming pool, but they have a small gym, and a nine-​hole golf course. They also have a good sized football pitch, where Tottenham Hotspur football club, otherwise known as Spurs, hold events for young coaches and young players.
I remember when I was young, I saw Daily Thompson in the car park, simply because New River’s biggest attraction is there running track with all other track and field facilities. At the finishing line of the track, there is a stand have a thousand seats or more. It is a good venue, and it is cheap.

its a nice venue to watch my beloved london skolars the grass is nice to play on and the changing rooms r neat and tidy and on match days the atmosphere is briiliant the only down side is the food on match days isnt the best to eat
