The convenience is that this place is open later than mostly all pubs or bars nearby. Unfortunately the quality and selection of beers were terrible. The food was mediocre but overpriced, and their Guinness on tap tasted more like a can or bottle. Think of it as a last resort if nothing else is open.

Love the Night & Day Bar. Stayed in the Imperial for a night, and spent the better part of the evening here. Pretty diverse menu selection, and a full bar with good draft selections as well. Only downside here is that you can’t eat outside. So I sat outside and drank tons of cider while reading and enjoying the beautiful weather. Then went inside to eat, then came back out(a little weird). Food was good — had a baguette early on in the night and a pizza later, with wedge fries. All yummy. Server was kind of a dick — I ordered fries after I ordered my entrée and he was like«next time know what you want okay?» Um, OKAY bro.(Is this an appropriate time for the term #byefelicia ??) It’s open early, stays open late, good food, good booze, and outdoor seating. Win!

Stayed in this hotel back in the early 90sat the time I was too young for the bar so I’m not sure how it might have changed over the years but it’s got to be one of the best hotel bars today. Most hotel bars don’t really need to make the effortthe people staying there are going to pop in there at some point unless it’s a complete dumpso to see a hotel bar with a guest ale on tap was as surprising as it was heartening. I can definitely imagine coming back here, it looks out onto Russell Square and due to the narrow layout there a lot of window seats available.

This place, as the name suggests, is open night and day It closes around 3am at the weekends, but this time seems flexible depending on the mood of the owners! Drinks are reasonable, but the range is nothing out of the ordinary. There are however, guest ales which change monthly and are ususally worth a try. If you’re looking for somewhere to watch sport, then there are a number of screens mounted high on the walls, avoiding the usual struggle to see the tv It doesn’t seem to get overly busy either, which is a plus. Weekends, as with any london bar, are horrendously busy and noisy — not an ideal place to go if you want a cozy chat. One more thing this place is okay, but just okay. A nothing special bar which happens to open late. There isn’t much atmosphere and the lights are horribly bright, detracting from the usual intimate feel you might expect from a bar. Good if you’re desperate for a pint at 2am, but otherwise; you’re not missing much.
