Since the middle of 2009, Nourish has been run by Thai people who offer Thai hot food at lunch time. The format is that there would be 2 curries, a stir fry and a pad thai to choose from and, apart from the pad thai, rice would be included for the dish selling at just under £5 each. This is a pretty good price/value for the area if one is looking for something hot and different for lunch and sit in a place which is fairly nicely decorated and clean. The curries/stir-frys are pretty tasty. Service is friendly and courteous. Recommended.

The café is adjoined to The Queen Mother Sports Centre and as such it offers a range of healthy eating options — porridge, cereals, yoghurts, salads, wraps. They also have a range of smoothies and super smoothies(lean body, energiser) for those who want a bit of extra goodness. I’ve only been in here a couple of times and it’s not too bad. It’s quite relaxed and informal and I like that it always has healthy active people wandering around. As much as I like French and Italian cafes, and don’t mind chains like Starbucks or Neros, it’s nice to occasionally go to a health café which has a different flavour.
