Excellent food and really friendly service. We called ahead for our food to be prepared before they closed at 10.30pm and he was more than happy to help. Highly recommended

This place was incredible. We went late after Wimbledon one evening and were all a little hungry. The cod vaporized off our plates
The owner is spot on and I left embarrassed thinking of the state of fish and chips in America.

Upside:
Some of the best fish and chips in London I’ve had. Don’t be put off by the Chinese owner — he knows exactly whether doing and the battered cod comes out perfect each time. Prices are also very reasonable too, and the shops very clean and grease free — shows the dedication to the shop of the owner.
Downsides: closes early some days, and wish they did some sides like mint peas and beans. Otherwise, no other complaints.

Finally got around to trying this fish and chips place. Clean, well lighted, friendly, good kalamari, fresh flowers on the tables (!), what’s not to like?
Four stars because Unilocal won’t do 4 and a half.
