There’s a whole slew of kebab shops along Old Street between, say, Old Street Roundabout and Goswell Road. Ignore them all but Palmers. Why? Well, in addition to being just a little bit friendlier, they also make their own( )(super yummy and fresh!) sauces — homemade chilli sauce, garlic yoghurt. They also use proper flat bread rather than the bland, cardboard-y pitas you’re apt to get in most doner joints in this town. It’s a good place to keep in mind for lunch or the obligatory post-pub nosh.
