Ate here twice. On both occasions the tapas was poor quality and lukewarm. Service staff are charming but I don’t eat there anymore.

Whoever did the interior design for Pamphylia must have been quids in as it looks as though they also did Cilicia just a few doors down. Sitting by the window in Pamphylia felt like an alternate universe as it was like Cilicia only back-to-front. I love the décor in both, lots of plants and colourful hanging lanterns. I haven’t been in either restaurant at night but it must look lovely all lit up. Now, it was a toss up here between 3 and 4 stars and I think I’ll have to return sometime soon to make my final decision about adding that extra star. You see the service was ok, not overly friendly but then not rude either and there was a chilled out atmosphere — I didn’t feel harassed into ordering quickly(which was handy as the menu was extensive!) I ordered a ginger beer and, well, it was horrible really. It was like watered down, flat cordial or something. Nothing like ginger beer, I couldn’t even taste any ginger! I decided against the tapas and went for the mains. I had a wrap with grilled chicken and grilled halloumi, my better half had the lamb kofte. Both meals were seriously tasty, very flavourful but THEREWASN’T ENOUGHFOOD! We left hungry :-( It was a very quiet Saturday and I’ve often seen Pamphylia packed out at the weekends so I need to go back to see if this is a one-off or if all of their portions are this size. Disappointing though — so much potential. Not to sound like Oliver Twist but«Please Pamphylia, I want some more!»

Sub-par tapas at average prices. Alright service.

I went for lunch on a weekday, when many restaurants offer great deals to bring in the punters. And so I was sucked in by the ‘3 tapas for £6′ offer. Actually, it was for £5.95, just to make you think it was a little over a fiver as opposed the lofty, ridiculous price of six pounds. It was ok. Hence three stars. I loved the garlic potatoes, but the spanish omelette, calamari and bread were nothing spectacular. The lemonade was just Schwepps, but cost the same as one tapas.(I know what you’re thinking, ‘595 isn’t divisible by 3′. Alright, so I’m rounding. Estimating. Live with it. I had to.) It was a nice sunny day so we sat outside, which was very pleasant. The service was quick and friendly, but I’d scope round the area for something else before I rushed back, if truth be told.

Simply the best restaurant I’ve visited in London so far! The staff are friendly, the food is incredible and some of the best tapas I’ve had! They also have an additional pizza menu and the pizzas are huge! They are all priced at around £5 and tapas dishes are very reasonable too. A group of 5 of us went recently and ordered two pizzas and 9 tapas dishes between us — the portions were huge but we refused to leave anything! 10⁄10 — it’s a must visit if you’re in North London!
