Cool and relaxed venue with plenty of seating for big groups. Lots of students sit and work on their laptops during the days. Been to a few performances as well and always impressed by the quality of the actors and production. Bar/café staff are always friendly and accommodating. Service is over all good but my only problem is that it tends to be a bit untidy and dirty on tables.

Legit surprise that I’ve never reviewed Park before. If I have and the Unilocal app is playing tricks then apologies… Okay, confession time: I treat Park Theatre like a bar. One time, a coffee shop. Not once have I ever actually been to the theatre here. The closest I came was a really animated retelling of our book club book as someone hadn’t finished it. But I love Park! The drinks are reasonable, the service good, the atmosphere lovely and I’ve eaten a brownie here that was basically the best thing ever. So, I will keep on using Park as the bar it’s honestly very good at being and continue to feel lack-of-culture guilt every time I see the post-play crowd.

Saw Hamlet here last night as a creative, Victorian Christmas story. Had an interesting cocktail that I hope that I can find fig liquer to recreate at home and quiche before the performance. While the woman behind the bar seemed a bit overwhelmed… the whole experience was quite enjoyable.
