DONOTUSETHISCOBBLER. This man is a liar and a thief, after months and months of calls and trips into the shop, I was lucky to finally get my shoes back(unfixed) and had to give up on getting my £50 back. He was aggressive, told me countless lies and excuses and even threatened me.

Do not use Parsons Shoe Repair. If you had asked me six months ago, I would have had nice things to say about it. It was a local shoe repair store, Jamie seemed friendly, he cut keys quickly, and my shoes were repaired pretty well. Then I moved. Since I was going to get the locks on the new flat changed, I thought I’d ask Jamie if he could recommend a locksmith. He offered to do it for me for £100. In early December I paid him the money and also gave him a pair of boots that needed a heel repaired at the same time. Then followed a month of his agreeing on a time to do the work only for him to not show up, him not replying to calls or texts, and endless excuses for why he couldn’t do the work just yet. Even when I went to the shop, he somehow couldn’t give me my boots back. One time he said his mother had them, another time his friend had them and was going to deliver them to me. In early January I told him I was done with waiting, that I wanted my money and my boots back or I would go to Trading Standards. He then sent a friend of his to my flat to change the locks. This friend of his immediately began flirting with me. Now I don’t know about you, but I’m not keen on entrusting my security to someone who treats me like a bit of meat. Not only that, but the locks he offered were completely wrong for my door and were not what Jamie and I had agreed would be used. I am working with Trading Standards to try to get my money and property back but I’m not holding out hope. Judging by the reviews of this shop on Google and other sites I’m not the only one to have been burned by Jamie. Don’t let it happen to you too. Avoid Parsons Shoe Repair.
