Peckham Pulse Healthy Living Centre

I joined pulse a good while ago, not that my attendance is very regular! The gym facilities leave a lot to be desired, it’s small! But some treadmill do have a view over the cute boys in the pool ;). What I think is best is the classes, especially the spin class (indoor cycle). The instructors are great and really push you and the music is on point! Although they book up super quick, so get in there fast!

I agree a little with the last reviewer, they has been a lot of improvement to Peckham pulse fusion throughout the years…
From the gym, swimming pool, hydrotherapy pool, Group exercise studio, great café & children soft play area.
BUT!!! the health suite has lost it’s title of health suite!!.
It needs a refurbishment immediately!!! It doesn’t look healthy at all!!!
It looks even more worse than the last time I came was here.

Stream & dry room are still working ok! and has cleaners who come in every 2 hours.
But the inside doors are mouldy & swollen, rustee lockers are broken.
Suite Hypo pool has not been working for months.
My three week experience here was a eye opener! I’m glad to be back at Brockwell lido!
Just a few points if do go into the suite!
* Always bring a lock & key with you.
* Always wear flip flop
* Never leave your stuff unattended

I used to use Peckham Pulse as part of my Fusion membership based at Dulwich Leisure Centre, and now I’m a gym goer again at Brockwell Lido (part of the same network) I have plans to resume regular visits to the lovely swimming pool.
I never used the gym or spa facilities at the centre but having been to other Fusion centres I’m sure they’re on a par or possibly better than their peers’. The swimming pool is certainly a lovely place to be, sparkling clean and new looking after a relatively recent refurb. You can almost kid yourself of your pro swimmer statusat least until that old lady overtakes you.
Beware the queues at reception — I wasn’t going at peak times but always seemed to get stuck behind a load of people.

Peckham Pulse provides a one hundred station gymnasium to workout in as well as a very busy class timetable. You can choose from many of the usual classes you’d find at any gym and a few with a diverse cultural vibe like cardio-​bhangra.
With the centre also being home to a family planning clinic, the gym holds onto a holistic vibe of community health, not powerhouse bodybuilding.
