Love this place! Go-to delivery spot with the best spicy chicken and rice I’ve ever had, and they actually make it spicy if you ask them to! The sides of hummus, pita, and corn are also lovely, all very tasty!

Order in from here all the time! Excellent spicy chicken with really good value for money and lovely corn and rice sides. It’s like a cheaper more nuclear nandos.

Love my Pepe’s. It’s my go-to delivery joint. Consistently good *halaal* chicken– decent clean meat, oily but flavorful seasoning. Pepe’s is a tasty, cheaper alternative to nandos. I usually go for a whole or half chicken meal deal with the«hot» seasoning, and also get a side of garlic sauce to dip the chicken into. Fries are okay but get soggy by delivery. Beware that the queue for delivery is usually over an hour, so order ahead!

We were doing some filming for a short film nearby and wanted to feed the crew of 8 as cheaply as possible, without going studenty about it! Pepe’s do a great platter called the«Mega Platter»; with two whole chickens, 4 x large Fries, 4 x pitta bread and 4 x dips/sauces. The chicken could be flavoured mango & lime, lemon & herb, mild, hot or extra hot, and there are add-ons that you can get for the platter at reduced prices(eg corn on the cob). We ordered the standard platter, two side salads and a paneer wrap for the veggie of the group, and it easily fed the 8 of us(although I worried when it first arrived as the chickens looked quite small! But there was plenty of meat in the end). And it was tasty! Best of all, we ordered the platter, a paneer wrap, two side salads and a couple of extra sauces, and it all came to less than £40(including free delivery). The delivery was delayed a bit as they had noted the address down wrong, but it was fine they just called me. I made the order through Just Eat the day before and specified the delivery day and time for 8pm the next day, which caused a bit of confusion at first, but it worked out in the end(I did call in the afternoon just to double check that they still had my order — they did). It also took a lot of trust on their side as we paid in cash on delivery.

I ordered take-out, Pepe’s was recommended by a friend, who also recommended the rice box, I didn’t go for that, instead I had the whole chicken with fries. It was OK, not the best chicken I’ve had, or the best sauce, I did have the rice box another time and it was awesome! Highly recommend the rice box.

Pepe’s is my go to place when I’m struggling after the night before. Luckily the Brick Lane branch deliver so I don’t even need to leave the house. I recommend the rice box that they do although there’s a big difference between the mild and the hot seasoning. It would be nice to have something in between as that would suit me. I tend to try and stay away from the battered chicken pieces but I’ve tried it once and it wasn’t too bad but the peri peri chicken is far superior. A lot cheaper than Nando’s and it really provides value for money

I got a chicken sandwich from this place, and it took about 10 – 15 minutes to prepare. Maybe this means they were making it fresh, but it was nothing special — seemed like a standard fast-food chicken sandwich on cheap bread. Might as well go to KFC and get quicker service.

Newbie fast food joint on Brick Lane. Kind of a mash up between a Nando’s and one of London’s many skanky chicken takeaways(just not nearly as skanky). However, if you’re in a pinch and order well(the hot wings are yum) Pepe can really come to the rescue. Way cheap, super clean and amazingly friendly.
