Excellent. Fresh seafood that is well prepared. Good service. Others have complained about wine selection but we were able to find a good white and red at decent prices. Good service. Fun neighborhood. Highly recommend

Great restaurant for a special treat. Food is incredible, we had octopus, crab, whole salted fish (filleted at the table), lobster … the fish list goes on, alongside a huge side dish to share, white chocolate cheesecake (YUM), wine and grappa. All delicious and amazingly presented. The service was great and the location is ideal (not far from a pub with a beer library where we went first, so my boyfriend was happy). It’s not a cheap place to eat, but it’s great value for that special meal you fancy once in a while.

Made a reservation for myself & wife there before reading the Unilocal reviews (should have!). The place was ¾ empty, The staff was cordial enough, We ordered first a combination of Irish & French oysters for the two of us and we each had a different fish dish for entrees, and a bottle of white wine recommended by the waitress, since they were «just» out of the one we had asked for,
The Irish oysters were OK, but the much larger French oysters didn’t taste that good, and both the fish entrees were non-​descript. We left about 10 PM and I woke up with severe pains in the stomach and proceeded to violently vomit and have severe diarrhea. About
20 minutes later the same thing happened to my wife. We continued to have these problems for a couple of hours with a lot of dry heaves at the end. My wife Is a physician and she is very well aware of food poisoning and it’s causes, one of the main causes being spoiled or unfresh oysters. We were bedridden for 2 days.
I asked our Concierge to call Pescatori to tell them about our sickness so that no other customer would order the current oysters. Pescatori was very defensive, saying it couldn’t have been the oysters, that it must have been the bottle of wine! How ridiculous!
Beware of this place! We were so looking forward to spending 10 days in lovely London. Instead, we traveled thousands of miles to have our vacation spoiled by a mediocre restaurant.

I’m here now waiting for the bill. The staff try snotty, which I wouldn’t appreciate even if the restaurant or food was any good, but as neither is, it is completely inexcusable. The food is bland, the service poor and the toilets are poorly kept. Avoid.

I went for lunch at Pescatori this afternoon and once entered I was asked by a crossed faced hostess if I have a booking– luckily we did have a booking
I looked around the place and found 3 tables occupied and over 25 empty tables!!! a sign of an urgent need for a booking
we were seated in a very tiny corner table between a wall and another table (I could barely get to my seat) but then I was hoping for a nice meal
still feeling uncomfortable every time the waitress comes near the table to talk to us– she had this uneasy frown that kept me on edge!
food wasn’t impressive at all– not starters not main courses
so service wasn’t particularly compelling and food wasn’t special and the bill caused a headache
and to top it up the woman next to my table splashed all her red wine on my Louis Vuitton handbag– how can I like anything about this place after that?!

This restaurant is totally over-​rated. It’s a mediocre Italian Restaurant! I have been here a few times with work. so all is paid for. I have to say, I’ve seen any Italians (or heard) eating in this place. which is not a good sign. You could try Allorro, which is next door to Pescatori!
