I really like this special little place! The waiter was super friendly and very attentive. Brought me some water without me having to ask for it. The food was delicious too have a green veggie curry with rice and a kick they only had house wine by the glass but must say the red one was absolutely alright which isn’t usually the case with house wine. But was is super special is the design and layout of the place. It’s really funky but beautiful with lots of flowers and stylish brick walls and amazing graffiti! I absolutely recommend it!

Nice restaurant away from the busy London center, just outside Highbury & Inslington tube station. Cosy environment, nice graffiti over the walls, friendly stuff, excellent food(of course phở!) & reasonable prices. Worth a visit for a relaxed dinner or lunch!

This is a new Vietnamese restaurant super close to the Highbury & Islington tube station(less than a minute walk) and is definitely a strong contender for one of the best Vietnamese places I’ve been to in London. So why the 4 stars instead of the 5? Price. I feel like most items were £1−2 more than most other places in London. For example, their morning glory was £8.50 while you can usually find it for £6.50 at most Vietnamese restaurants. Is it because they are near the tube stop? In Islington? Along with the hike in price, came smaller portions than what you receive in Shoreditch, etc. I’ve enjoyed their phở and bun bo hue — always really fresh and high quality meats, herbs and veggies. I’ve been back a few times and also gotten take-out, always great! They pack the take-out really well so you don’t have to worry about soup going everywhere. If you’re in the area, you should definitely check it out. It’s a great option — especially in the rainy/cold months in London.

The phở was nice but is not the phở I’ve had from home(Singapore, with travels to Vietnam). Really filling. Complimentary prawn crackers. Cool environment.

I’ve been here a few times and I love the food everytime I go. I’ve tried several things, Phở, rice, stir frys… Always with good results. Last time I went, I ordered the veggie Phở. Let me say that the broth was great, the amount of veggies in it more than excellent(asparagus, pepper… you name it), the tofu was crispy and not soggy and the bowl and the amount of food was perfect. Prices are reasonable, the place is cute and they have plenty of space for you to sit and the door is always closed(trust me, I CANNOT understand why some business leave their doors open in the winter and let us freeze to death). Will come back for sure!

The service was strange and music even more so. It was entertaining to watch how ill timed everything was. We sat down and were immediately asked about what we wanted and asked the server to come back and then struggled to catch anyone’s eye to finally order. The summer roll with tofu was fine but I’m not quite sure why we didn’t get peanut sauce with it. I ordered the tofu bun bo hue. It was served with thin vermicelli noodles and I usually expect the ones that are slightly fatter and wasn’t spicy at all. The broth tasted fine but it’s almost as if nothing did what is said on the pack. Regarding the music; it was a sweeping soundscape that made me think my friend and I were in a film about great love and loss in a time of war… but it was Islington

My favourite place around Islington and their phở is very authentic. The decoration is trendy and lovely, good service. Note: cash only.

One of the best Vietnamese places in Islington! I had the Chicken Phở, takeaway. The staff were super friendly & even gave me a complimentary drink and some prawn crackers to have while I waited. When I go home, I unpacked my meal, everything was separated, which was brilliant as it ensure that the soup didn’t make any of the ingredients soggy. The freshness was remarkable. I could smell the fresh mint blended in with ginger. I could completely recommend Phở House for a great and wonderful takeout — next time I’ll dine it :-)
