Great pizza, strange service and environment. We went for a quiet pizza and I am always a bit wary of attending this restaurant but my friend likes it. We sat in the conservatory at the back which is normally cold in winter, but was ok today. The only problem was a bright light was beaming onto our faces. We decided to move this ourselves only to find that it was dark. However this is better than being dazzled by a high beam light and blind to everything. I had some dough ball starters which were tasty and the mozzarella pizza which was small but tasty as well. The salad my friend had apart from being served on a large plate was full of lettuce and little else. Great for her diet being a rabbit. Other than that the service was ok, ie. They were trying their best. He ibviously didn’t really understand how to serve wine and may as well have left it on the table for us to do ourselves. As per normal they forgot to cut my pizza although I asked. Overall another very average experience, although maybe a good restaurant for children. You do know what your getting though.

The food was fine — Pizza Express standard. However, the service was awful. We went to celebrate a friends birthday and there were 7 of us, but they couldn’t get us out quick enough! We arrived at 4pm and it wasn’t very busy, but the staff were very rude and acted as though they didn’t want to serve us. Verdict: extremely disappointing experience.

very good food as expected, was a little un happy with the service, the food was basically slapped down on the table and the drink was knocked over me.

Don’t like pizzas that much but have friends that do. This is quite a good place when there aren’t too many rugrats around. A large bottle of Peronni is nearly £6.00. Ouch! The Pizza prices are in line with most other places. I have eaten here on quite a few occasions and find the staff here are always very pleasant and accommodating. It is best to stick to the pizzas as the other fare isn’t up to much!

A typical Pizza Express — good, simple, ‘does what it says on the tin’ pizzeria. The service is quick, friendly and attentive; the food is invariably of a good ‘premium chain’ standard and is varied enough to avoid being boring; the restaurant itself is open, uncluttered, and not too tightly packed(unlike some Pizza Express restaurants in more central areas); the wine list is short but well chosen and complements the food. Original and exciting food options aren’t extensive in Mill Hill, but this Pizza Express provides reasonable Friday /Saturday night fare if you accept you are not going to be getting anything out of the ordinary.

This Pizza Express is a whole different ballgame to branches in the city, I think the Pizza here is excellent. This branch is extremely generous with the toppings. The décor of this restaurant is beautiful and there is an outdoor section on a patio with apple trees visible overhead. I will say if you are experienced with Pizza Express, you will find that the inner city branches are usually not as generous period. A salad here with Buffalo Mozzarella has twice as much cheese as in Soho! Nuts. This location is usually not that busy and you can sit outside with a glass of wine leisurely without worrying or feeling guilty about taking too much«precious table space’. This is a good place.
