Morning staff was very good:) but the night shift was rude and we didn’t feel welcomed. Asked for a bath towel and the lady brought us a hand towel, also we asked for a place we could get food and she rudely told us it wasn’t a restaurant. Found the vending machines on my own and was able to hold out until morning.

FANTASTIC!!! I was on a 2 week trip around Eastern Europe and only booked one night in this hotel before my flight home to Miami. I don’t usually stay in hotels at this price(a bit expensive for me) but I wanted a bit of luxury on my last night. There are 3 things that I look for in accommodation, a comfy bed, a nice shower, and QUIET! So I was supposed to arrive at this hotel at about 4 pm. I was really excited with the location, right in the middle of Leicester Square, a few minutes walk to Picadilly and Covent Garden. Unfortunately, I missed my flight from Budapest, which meant that instead of checking in at 4, I didn’t get there until about 10:00 pm. As I was walking through Leicester Square towards the hotel, I was tired, frustrated and made at myself for missing my flight. I then got a bit worried as I thought maybe it would be too late to check in. I got to the door and it was locked and there was a nightclub about 1 foot from the front door. CRAP! This was not going to fit in with my wanting quiet. I pulled on the door and it was locked. Crap again! There was a police man standing at the door of the night club and he showed me where the buzzer was. I pushed it and was buzzed in. PHEW!!! I entered the lobby and there were a few staff members there, one very quickly greeted me and assured me that I was not too late. She checked me in at the kiosk, told me about the wifi and breakfast and that was it. I was so relieved. All I wanted to do was get a shower and to bed.(This staff member had blonde hair and was on duty the night of Jan 4th.) My room was absolutely beautiful. The bed was huge and comfy and there were two extra pillows on a shelf which was super because I love lots of pillows! The room was decorated very smartly, efficient, and extremely cleaned. There was a nice desk and a blow dryer, a kettle and supplies for tea and coffee. The bathroom was also very clean and the shower was fantastic. I’m all about energy conservation, so I thought it was really cool that in order to get the lights to work you needed to put the room key into a little slot.(This insures that you won’t walk out of the room and leave the lights on). I got 24 hours of free wifi and it worked great. I had a wonderful night’s sleep and there was absolutely no noise. Granted, I stayed on the 8th floor, well away from the night club, and I don’t think there was anyone else staying on that room, but it was absolutely silent all night. The next morning I went down to breakfast where a lovely young lady showed me to my table and explained the buffet to me. The food was fantastic, all of it, the hot and the cold. I then attempted to print my boarding pass for my flight. There is a computer in the lobby just for guests to check on their flights and to print their boarding passes. Super nice touch, and it’s even free! For some reason my flight was not showing, and a very nice staff member(I’m sorry that I don’t know her name, but she was black and did not appear to have an English accent) allowed me to use the staff computer to print my boarding pass. I went upstairs to grab my bags and when I came back down there was another staff member that helped me check out.(a very tall white man) He was extremely friendly and helpful. I know that some reviewers on another site said that the rooms are too small and the hotel is too expensive. Well welcome to Europe, and welcome to one of the hottest spots in one of the hottest cities in the world, Leicester Square, London! It’s true, the room is small and there was no convenient place for my suitcase, and I’m only one person. Everything is smaller in Europe though! Fantastic hotel, they’ve really done an impeccable job with paying attention to detail, and training their employees in customer service. A+++

What a great, modern and well-maintained hotel. Loved it. Great wi-fi and near everything. Even though it’s in a busy square you don’t hear a thing up in your room. Probably the best place I stayed on my trip. I felt completely safe at the hotel and all around London for that point.
