This is my local branch of Pret. I have previously always been a huge fan of the chain but I recently started drinking coffee and in all honesty I don’t really enjoy the coffee here, sorry Pret! I’ve tried lattes, mochas and the filter coffee and find all to be somewhat bitter. That said, their filter coffee is great value for money at 99p and as such I’ll pop in and grab one if I’m feeling the pinch on the old purse strings! The food offering is always varied, though they have very little savoury food on offer for younger children, they have the obvious cookies etc and a rather delightful Godfrey the gingerbread man for snacks though! I have to admit I am very fond of their canned cold drinks & their warm macaroni cheese. The venue itself is large with plentiful seating, disabled access and a disabled toilet. There’s further seating and toilets upstairs and staff are always attentive and friendly!

This branch of Pret is one of my personal favourites, as it offers a large open area of seats both upstairs and downstairs, and is staffed by very friendly people. The only downside is the lack of plugs available, so if you’re a laptop or tablet user don’t expect to be able to plug your device in all the time. As for the food, it’s a Pret so it’s exactly the same as any other branch.

This must be one of the nicest Pret’s that I have seen. There is an upstairs sitting area with comfortable chairs and unfortunately only a handful of plugs for the freelancers and notebook users. However, it’s bright, clean and there are so many chairs and tables — good for big groups. I will definitely come back.

I never used to be a big fan of Pret but this new one in Ealing Broadway has really brightened up the high street! Its comfortable chairs and benches make it one of the more comfortable coffee shops to sit in, especialy as the bright, full length windows stop it from feeling too claustrophobic even when it gets busy. As for the food, it has all the usual Pret stuff– coffee, cakes, salads, sandwiches, sushi, etc, and even though I think sometimes it can be a bit expensive for a coffee shop, the food is decent and reliable. Pret has become really popular in Ealing, so sometimes at rush hour you have to be quick to get what you want– the most popular sanwiches and sushi usually sells out pretty quickly, and sometimes I have been disappointed to find that the shelves are almost bare, but overall it’s a great place to have coffee or grab food on the go.
