Pret A Manger

Ideally located, by London Bridge Underground station, opposite Borough Market.
Staff is usely quite helpful and efficient
Same food and drinks as in all Pret — no bigger choice because it’s a bigger place, so of a decent standard.

As Prets go this one is fairly huge with all the comfortable seating in the bottom floor. Quick & welcoming service from the barista along with a well-​above-​average filter coffee option (I know, but I’m American) made for a very pleasant visit.

It’s like living in a dream… you go to the same place, it’s the same, but with a different lay out… You feel familiarity and you feel disorientation at the same time.
I think the choc bars are rammed full of some sort of drug — MSG maybe? — I think I am addicted to these!
I feel a bit of déjà vu having the Tuna Salad here — it’s pretty much a carbon copy that I’ve had at every Pret I have ever been too, and it’s why I love them, consistency:

If you’ve been to one, then putting layout aside, well you’ve been to them all.
Quality, service, food options, they’re all standard across the board.
I’ve never been keen on the coffee, but every now and then I get a hankering for a tuna nicoise and choc bar that needs to be satiated.
I’ve also started loving some of their sandwiches (pastrami sandwiches and the cheese and ham baguettes) and I do rather like their new small sandwich options.
To be honest I haven’t had a bad option here, although am wary of the price as a few items can really add up. I tend to favour to ‘take away’ as it’s a cheaper option, however sometimes the weather disagrees with me. It is however not that expensive — but it’s also not the budget option — although then where is these days?
Quality of ingredients is good, what you get is fresh and the quality of the bread is good.
As I mention I particularly like the tuna nicoise — you have an optional dressing, and it comes with crisp leaves, capers, salad and egg. Although I’d recommend getting some black pepper to kick it off!
Whilst I tend to try and avoid chain’s, you know what you’re going to get here, a wholesome quick meal fix. Great if you’re on the go and don’t want to have to mount a search party against hunger.

Was wäre England ohne die berühmten Sandwiches. Diese Kette Pret a Manger hat für mich die größte und beste Auswahl. Es werden diese auch nach Wunsch getostet und alles wird frisch zubereitet. Sehr hygienisch, die Mitarbeiter beim einräumen mit Hauberl am Kopf -:)))
Es gibt auch Suppen und Salate sowie Süßes für die Naschkatzen.

Leider gibt es bei uns in Österreich keine so gut Sandwich Kette.
Ich kenn dies in London über 1 Jahrzehnt.
Früher von reinen Sandwichen wurde dass Angebot weiterentwickelt mit Wraps, Suppen, …
Sind immer frisch und man kann in der Innenstadt fast 24 h Essen gehen.
Auch die süßen Versuchungen sind herrlich.
