Ahhhh the plastic coffee shop that is Pret. Always a better choice than Starbucks as they pay their tax contributions. Nice warm few seats to chill out at if you need a pre work coffee. The service was average at best. I think that pret should let people be themselves instead of fake how can I help service guides

The same food as in all other Pret shops, just with worse staff. I have had too many bad experiences in this Pret. Staff chatting to each other instead of serving customers, staff talking about hair found near the soup, staff that bring 1 sandwich when you asked for 8, etc. Staff in this shop not on the ball.(Hence I now get much lunch in EAT30 – 40 seconds walk away.

Same Pret as anywhere else except the crawfish salad is always in stock. My experience is such that average queue time is never over 40 seconds on any weekday lunch rush. Happy to spend where I needn’t wait for food but where food waits for me.

I love my Pret sandwiches. They’re definitely way better and healthier than the McDonald’s chemically fused buns. The Pret sandwich is classes ahead — fresh, soft bread, crusty on the outside if you wish and so, so delicious. I also love their wide choices of meat for the filling. The crowd that usually goes here is completed of businessmen and people who have to organise their day ahead and don’t have the time to wait in a regular coffee shop. Here come the delicious mini-baguettes to save the day and lots of lovely sandwiches that you can just come in and grab for to-go in under a minute.

My local office Pret. Although I do confess to being a EAT man rather than Pret, what draws me in here is that they usually have their sandwiches and baguettes ready to go from 8am — very handy if you need to sort your lunch out before getting to work. We all have those days when we can’t escape from meetings right? And those damn tasty little breakfast baguettes on the counter are a constant draw. Oh they’re good. Staff in here are quick and efficient, which gets an extra star from me. There’s no messin’.

This was my local Pret when I worked around the corner so became a favourite lunchtime spot. I want to be able to fault it, especially with its link to McDonalds, but the truth is, Pret is pretty damn good! The Mozzarella and Tomato croissant is amazing — I have no idea exactly what they do to it, but its the best croissant I know, and I will often seek it out. The slim sandwiches are genius and the vegetarian sandwich of the week much appreciated. I love the vegetable crisps and the chocolate biscuit bar is amazing — even the drinks are great including the fizzy detox can. I’m also a fan of its soups, sushi and salads. In fact I’m pretty much a fan of it all except the hot falafel wrap, which always seems to stick to the wrapper so you end up with cardboard in your mouth. So yes, I am a huge, reluctant Pret fan. I think it’d be hard not to. The smiling Italian man is the particular branch is also great — a cheerful breeze at lunch-hour — and I love that you don’t have to put in your pin number for amounts under £5 — excellent!
