Pret A Manger

Pret is a chain but I have nothing against large businesses. Big businesses… they fly me round the world. They exhibit art. They lend me money. The feed me and they serve me coffee. Doesn’t mean I like them all but similarly it doesn’t mean I damn them all. Pret has an ethos that means you’ll always get a smile from its staff. Generally the friendliest and nicest people that could serve you good coffee and freshly baked croissants no mater which one you choose. Great sanwiches, good sushi, nice crisps and fiery ginger beer. I like them.
There was recently a story in the London press about how not all Pret’s make their sanwiches fresh on the premises and how some shipped them in. The story was carried with a picture of a man on a Pret delivery bicycle taking a delivery of fresh made food to another Pret. Was I the only one who thought this was a ridiculous none story that gave as evidence a man cycling with a delivery. One how green is that and two he was prob just delivering around the corner to another store.
