Pretorius Bikes is a well-​hidden road bike boutique (temple, I’d say), backed by a small selection of local craft beers and credible coffee offerings (La Marzocca espresso machine, All Press beans). Well-​hidden is definitely the description — apparently it’s been open for 4 – 5 years yet has been unknown to Unilocal all that time!
I didn’t try the coffee or buy any cycling merchandise/​service. Instead I contented myself with trying a hitherto unknown craft beer (Craft) and chatted to the friendly member of staff.
This seems to be a place known only to die-​hard road bike enthusiasts who meet here for coffee before rides and craft beer after rides. The space, in a railway arch, is immaculate, with bikes and merchandise neatly arranged.
Definitely somewhere to stop by if you’re into road biking.
