Popped in for a quick pint. It looks better from the outside because once you enter the vibe changes. Poor selection of beer mostly macro and the atmosphere was non existent. Just had one and left.

Definitely an experience. Very sports bar like. They have all of the traditional British pub foods. I had the fish and chips and it was decent. There was a «football» game on during our visit. about every 15 minutes the crowd would start chanting at the TV… lol. If a sports bar scene is not your thing, I would suggest going somewhere else. Any pub in London is definitely a place to see.

The Prince of Wales is in an unlovely no-man’s-land just after you make the transition — via the bridge over the West London Line — from the marbled canyons of Kensington to the desolate valleys of Hammersmith. So, geography is not in its favour… Nor is history. This has been a slightly grubby main road boozer for as long as I can remember. Swirly carpets and long-unrefurbished décor don’t help. On the plus side, there’s a good ale selection and a nice little garden round the back. Friendly staff, too. This is a pub ripe for redevelopment. Until, then you will struggle to have a great night out here.
