It is back to its original name of Prince of Wales. It is now a free house but still sells Young’s beers. It has a plain interior but is comfortable and has TVs showing sport. There is a reasonable sized car park.

Formally the Prince of Wales until getting renamed after Diana’s death, this Young’s pub is a great place to get away from it all. Located in between South Wimbledon and Morden tube stations ont he busy A24 Morden Road, this pub is not near any other major store. There are a couple of shops nearby but no ATM for at least 400 meters. The pub is a young’s so expect spirits to be expensive, mixers are not free and beer to come as Stella, Fosters, Guinness and real ale to be offered in the form of Young’s bitter or Young’s special. This pub has a unique crowd from the nearby housing and a few who travel to join the crowd. It is not famed for showing live sports or having food on offer. It just sell beer. It makes for a nice chill out and breaks the walk if you are walking down this road. The cast and crew of the TV show ‘The Bill are regulars here as the show is flimed in a nearby studio in a trading estate a few hundred yeards away. It has a big car park, but you should not drink and drive.
