Queens Park Cafe

Can I just say, to the guy working the coffee machine on Friday 13^th May– you are amazing! I’m addicted to coffee and this was one of the best coffees I’ve ever had! Definitely the cinnamon was the way to go!
Myself and a friend enjoyed an amazing lunch, both were delicious– the avocado toast was fantastic!
We were piggies and had the lemon polenta cake which was amazing and gluten free!
We will definitely be returning! Thanks for a great afternoon!

Good spot to get in from the cold at the park and have a hot cup of coffee and sandwich. The people here are very helpful, and the place is clean. Lots of mums with their children here, so know that there is a lot of activity inside! Good gelato and other treats. Bathrooms are decent for a public park.

The Queens Park Café has got a great spot in the centre of Queens Park itself.
As far as local park cafes go, this one is quite upmarket and reflects the change of residents in the local area due to the high increase in property prices in recent years. They do a great latte and have quite an extensive menu. As the café is open from 9am to about 8pm during the summer months, the menu reflects this. They offer all the usual breakfast fayre. They also affer lots of different pastries and cafes. Salads and pasta seem to be the mainstay of the lunch and early evening menu.
I really like having a coffee here when the weather is nice, as they have an extensive seating area outside, as well as plenty of internal eating.
As much as I like this place, it only gets 3 stars for me. There are two reasons for this. The toilets are run by the City of London and are external to the café. They really are in need of a refurbishment. Also, although the cost of refreshments are reasonable, I find that the food menu is a bit expensive for waht is really a park café. Why would you want to pay almost £8 when you could walk just a few minutes away to places like Jacks Café and Hugo’s and get a good breakfast for a much lower price?
