Fine for lunch. No rave reviews but its serviceable. The lamb rogan was good but a little underspiced. All in, a good place.

I stay in this area when in London so I’ve been to this outpost a few times now. Food is quite good and the service is excellent. Most recently I tried a few of their speciality dishes and enjoyed them quite a bit. Their naan is excellent. The one downside is that they only have two wines by the glass, so you should come prepared to drink a bottle if you want anything beyond«white or red».

I do love this small chain of three Indian restaurants(Rajasthan 1, 2 and 3!) They are dotted around the city and provide really delicious Indian food at moderate prices. We have tried most dishes on the menu, and my favourites are the madras, prawn puri, rogan josh and keema naan. The place is quite quiet, even on a Friday night.

Enjoyable, but we found most dishes made too sweet, including the raita. Who puts sugar in raita? Prawns nice and fresh, not overlooked, but again the masala sauce way too sweet. Naan was great. Husband’s mixed grill was the best. Service was attentive.

We started with the tandoori lamb chops as an appetizer. They were phenomenal. Well flavored and not overly spicy. My husband had the Chicken Jalfrezi. His whole head was sweating from the spice, but he really enjoyed it. He would recommend this dish to anyone who likes a lot of hot spice. I don’t remember which lamb dish I had, but I really enjoyed it. I really liked that it wasn’t too spicy. I don’t do as well with hot spice. No dish is complete without naan. The naan here was decent, but not the best we’ve ever had. Service was good. Our drinks were constantly refilled. This was a great moderately upscale restaurant we would eat at again if we found ourselves in London again.

Seriously, I figured out where all the hot men in the City go for lunch. Curry houses! Well posh curry houses, I should say. Rajasthan III is more upscale than a curry house in Brick Lane but not quite as much as Anokha. The food is made quick with lots of flavour and all the classics are there. They know their menu and they know it well! The staff are always happy to make a suggestion even if it isn’t on the menu. We’ve had our company Xmas party here the last 2 years and you just can’t beat it. A cold drink and a hot curry! Fab!
