I must emphasise I haven’t bought a bike in here — but every time I’ve gone for advise, lights, emergency supplies, air(as it’s on my commute) the staff have been nothing more than sincere, polite and helpful. And in looking around I didn’t find the bikes overpriced £250 for a bike seems quite reasonable if its an upgraded classic bike — the parts are expensive to buy and the labour is rare(and therefore a commodity IMO) That said — I don’t feel able to dispute the previous reviews being unable to look at the bike. Its just unfortunate how expensive bikes are ATM. That said — I have never bought a bike there –the staff however have helped me with advice on my old bike — and their lack of hard sales technique is why I frequent the shop for supplies and when my bike finally cracks — or when I finally get around to replacing the Chain and gears — I’ll take it in for them to do.

The staff here were so unfriendly and unhelpful. Bikes are WAYYYYY to over priced and are in horrible, rusty and bad condition. Take you £200 and get a nicer bike somewhere else.

The concept of ReCycling — refurbishing and selling off unwanted, abandoned bicycles — is ace. The execution, however, leaves much to be desired. No, I don’t want to pay £250* for a rusted pile of shit with flaking handlebars and a saddle that looks like it’s been sat on and perhaps shat on by a thousand London pigeons. Oh, and — I’m no bicycle scientist — but I have to say that its brakes are highly suspect, even standing as it is stationary amongst its dirty and rusted brethren. Two hundred and fifty pounds. 50 quid? Sure! 250 quid? Um… no. The only person who’d pay £250 for that pile of shit is a Shoreditch twat willing to do just about anything for a bit more hipster cred. ____________________________________________ *And that wasn’t even the most expensive bike in this place.
