If there was an option to highlight no stars I would ! Went there yesterday to watch the euro football. First you have to pay £5 entry fee ! We thought ok let’s give it a go. Rude bouncers and rude manager. Place was a dump. After seeing the food that was coming out we decided to have a drink and leave. It’s probably the worst bar I have been to. Who ever owns this place or manages it I hope your reading this. Fix up you stupid slobs. !

We went here to watch baseball as it’s pretty hard to find in London. We asked if the game was actually showing as it said on the website and if they were staying open since the game started late. He said it was showing and they were open until 11. Well we bought drinks and after a half hour of being told the game was going to be shown upstairs then downstairs and several requests to the manager to switch to the game, they finally got it figured out. Then they told us the bar actually was closing at 10. Well that was a waste of expensive drinks for about 20 minutes of baseball. What a scam, we definitely felt lied to and the staff didn’t care at all. Would not return.

Awful experience here. Came to watch a match, I had a dinner few drinks, spent around 30gbp by myself. The burger was really bad, and so were the chips. What made the place even more awful was the manager. While watching the match, few min after I finished my drink and my table cleaned up, the manager approached my table and asked if I wanted a drink. As they don’t serve Sanbuca downstairs and I already knew it, I told him I was ok as Inwas going to go upstairs myself. He turned and asked if I bought anything since I was there. How rude it’s that. :-(

This place is pretty lame. It seems like a good idea to come here and watch your sports event. They have lots of screens and some cool sports memorabilia but that’s about the only good thing about the place. It also has aggressive bouncers, an entry fee(admittedly you get a beer with your entry but no soft drink alternative), a really rude manager and food that’s merely acceptable rather than great. Their pride and joy, a huge projector TV, is not aligned correctly so the picture is wonky. A lot of the upstairs space is taken up by pool tables, which seem like a nice touch until you find out its £20 an hour to play. You’re better off going to pretty much any normal bar to watch your event!

Probably the best place in the neighborhood to watch games. It’s big and they have a good choice of beers + bar food!

For a sports bar in this location it is as good as it gets. The reason for the 5 star marking is not necessarily on the drink/food — although they are of a good standard, the ranking is due to the outstanding and superb customer service across the board. This venue is split over 2 floors and is rather unique for this part of town as in what it has on offer. Pool tables, the football, snooker etc. They are also above the mark for their attitude for disadvantaged/disabled people, without being patronising or acting like it is too much of a drama, they couldn’t do enough on our visit. The food was ordered and was out quick smart, and considering the place was packed to the rafters, this is no mean feat. It was of a good standard too. They had lots of specials on drinks too which is fantastic considering the location. They serve«proper» coffee too if you fancy it. There is plenty of seating and random areas. The manager, the bar staff, the bouncers, everyone was top dog. I am not saying it is the most salubrious venue in town, it doesn’t try to be and that is not what it is about. If you want a cracking afternoon/night out, with great staff in London that is not going to bankrupt you then hit this place!

Terrible service, ordered food and then were told they didn’t have that available. Advertise American football and then changed channels, they gave us excuses, no food, terrible service. We came to watch the games and couldn’t even do that. They may have 35 tv’s but only use 2 channels.

This place blows !!! They brag about having 25 tv’s, but they show the same crap on every tv. They advertise American football, but good luck getting to watch your team. All in all, try any other place! The staff were rude as well. BRUTAL!

My advice: go in, ogle the F1 car dangling above the pool tables, and then go find somewhere else to get food/drinks. The beer was bland, the food was terrible. The waitstaff was slow and screwed up two of my party’s orders(we were the only people in the place on a sunday afternoon with no significant sports games on, how hard can it be to take care of ONE table?) I’ve been to some garbage sports bars in my time(hi, American) but this one really takes the cake. Also, £6 for four cold mozzarella sticks is the rippiest of rip-offs. Avoid this place like the plague. Go to the Maple Leaf if you want to watch hockey.

I know what you are thinking… what’s a Unilocaler like you doing in a place like this? Well, there’s only one answer north Americans + Hockey. For the epic battle between Canada and America in Olympic hockey, apparently you want to go somewhere where you can be surrounded with as much north American testosterone as possible and 1000 of your closest friends. I can’t imagine why anyone would come here otherwise, unless it’s a world cup final or to watch the end of the world play out on the big screen. Because this place is sports bar dreadful. Firstly, it’s huge, screens everywhere! Pool tables and beer in plastic cups. They do have two happy hours though, the second one starts again at 9pm. Because really why would you go here and pay full price? They have shot girls in hotpants and crop tops. It’s alarming. They also do food.

There’s really only one reason to go to this place… NFL football games. And pool. But if you really want to play pool you should probably go somewhere that isn’t as busy, you’ll probably have better luck getting a table. So back to why you should go… you’ll feel like you’re in America. Maybe you don’t normally want that vibe when you’re in London — after all, you’re not in America. But every once in awhile you need to feel at home. You know what I mean. A classic sports bar with bland beer options, more TVs than they really need so that everyone in the place can rotate their neck a little bit and watch a different one. Or if you’re a die hard you can go to the back where there’s a projector and the game is on the wall. So avoid this place like the plague if you want a quiet pub experience. But hey, if the game is on and you need a place open late, give Rileys a shot. You’ll probably be yelling at people for hours after you leave because you can’t hear very well, but you’ll probably have seen the whole game. Oh, and if that’s not enough to convince you, here’s one last tip: if you’re in the back watching on the big screen, the wait staff will actually come up and take your order! No need to go to the bar to get a refill on your beer! What a concept!
