On a dessert hunt at 10:20pm. Stepped into this restaurant after a Unilocal search indicating it was open until midnight and had desserts. Other customers were leaving so we wanted to make sure the place was still open since Unilocal hours could be wrong. Friend: Excuse me, is the restaurant closing? Waiter: Yeah, we close at 11pm. (Search of restaurant website later confirms Unilocal’s listed closing hours of 12am) Me: …(Thinking to myself: That’s still 40 min away, not like they’re closing at 10:30pm.) Friend: Well is it ok if we just get dessert? Waiter: We unfortunately can’t, we don’t have a license to only sell dessert. Us: … At that point we were dumbfounded and left. A license for selling dessert? Who ever heard of such a thing?!! Pretty sure that waiter was lying throughout, saying whatever it would take to get us to leave. :op

I arrived late in London from the U.S. It was late and not too many places were serving food. This place was buzzing w/activity. They welcomed me in around 10. The waitress recommended a nice glass of wine, then olives, then risotto frutti di mare. Service was so nice and friendly and the risotto was delicious! Definitely try this place!

I was hungry, and wandering along The Cut when I stumbled on this lively place. Inside and out so plenty of choice. A fresh flower on every table. My meal was very tasty(Moule and a salad) and the waitress friendly. The one mark down would be that I was left waiting for my bill rather too long, otherwise it was very nice!
