Good place for functions. Food is great, has a good atmosphere, good place for raves, would recommend people to try i r out. Good place for socialising.

A real gem — best pizza I’ve ever tasted! I’ve lived in Catford for past couple years and this restaurant is one of our favourites, me and my husband go again and again and have always had a superb meal. Its modern décor you’d think you were in the west end but the pizza and pasta is not only delicious but really good value for money. They do a deal on takeaways if you buy one pizza you get another free on certain nights and when I can’t be bothered to cook you can also order any of the pasta’s to takeaway which is really handy. The staff are attentive and friendly, Maurice is the main manager, has worked there for years — he looks after everyone, always buys us a free drink! Def worth a visit, you’ll not be disappointed.

I just don’t get the comments made by the previous reviewer?
I’ve been to Riva to attend a private function. The place is amazing when you consider it’s a local venue and in my opinion has a real feel of a west end bar! It’s beautifully designed with leather sofas and very cool lighting. everything is very plush.
I’d seen the previous review before attending my party and was not looking forward to going to what had been described as a grotty venue! How pleasently surprised I was. In fact I took it upon myself to check out the point previously made. this is where I think the last person must of been making up their content. I asked my girlfriend to report back on the ladies loo’s, not something that would usually be of curiosity but the place was so well fitted out that I couldn’t imagine almost derelict toilets as previously described. As predicted I was informed that in fact there were three well appointed cubicles with a large double washbasin vanity station with huge backlit mirriors either side! More luxury than derelict!
I thought that perhaps attending a private function may have been the reason my review was so different to the previous one. so I intend to try out one of the bars promoter nights that they hold on Fridays. I’ve checked out the venues dont stay in and Facebook pages and the nights look to be very cool with a selection of top promoters. Plush daFunk is one. of which I’ve attended elsewhere. they put on great nights!
All in all I think we should welcome such a cool venue to Catford rather than diss it. I can’t think of anywhere locally that even comes close!!!
