Went for just drinks with my colleagues, and I quite liked the ambience. Not overwhelmingly fancy but sophisticated enough for events or meetings of any purpose. Furthermore, it’s a very close distance to Barclays, so would be ideal for any corporate function after work for Barclays employees in Canary Wharf. They span across two floors, so ask further about the most suitable space for you. Did not have any food on this occasion, but I was told that their food is quite good. Many people have mentioned their salad to me, so I’d personally love to try that out sometime.

Decent bistro style food. Gets very busy for weekday lunches. Staff are very efficient at what they do. The calzones and pizzas are MASSIVE! Overall for food quality, I’d rather eat at Jamie’s next door for roughly the same price. But Rocket is still OK for a quick lunch.

Canary Wharf is ‘choc’ full of egg-citing culinary destinations but this is one I frequent more r-egg-ularly than most. My high egg-spectations are regularly satisfied despite slightly egg-stravagant prices. Personally, though, I’m quite happy to ‘shell’ out a little extra for egg-cellent surroundings and egg-ceptional service. I recently booked a drinks party here it costs £30 to reserve an area, which seems egg-streme, but its all-white with a personal waitress on hand and a haven of space to stretch out your l-eggs amidst the crowd, it’s well worth the out-‘lay’. R-egg-ommended for a cracking good time!

What a great place! I suppose it does depend on whether you enjoy cocktails, appreciate salads and like your protein fried or grilled. We had cocktails in the bar downstairs before going up to the restaurant and they were good we tried a punchy one with chilli which certainly hit the spot. Going upstairs the classy décor created a good impression, it wasn’t crowded but there was a good ambience about the place. However I loved the food and really the fish cakes were the very best I have ever had bar none! My companions also loved their scallops and er fish and chips salads but the puddings were awesome! I had a sweet crêpe with banana and caramel, just gorgeous, my companions had the Pecan pie premiership quality, and chocolate brownie was so good it defied description! The wine was good although reasonably pricey and the service was very attentive. I will be going back but have been warned by one of my companions not to let everyone know about the place as it is never too crowded and she wants it to stay that way! Sorry, but it is just too good to keep quiet about give it a go but don’t tell everyone.

Not sure how fair it is to write a review based on one dish, but first impressions are everything, right? Please don’t order the crispy squid salad. You’ll just be setting yourself up for disappointment. This is one of their main course salads, and when it arrives, you’re first surprised by how big the three pieces of squid on top of the salad are. But, beware — it’s not the squid that is large — the actual squid is minuscule compared to the massive fried coating covering it. You’ll be searching through the coating to find the actual squid, and you’ll be left with abundant remains of the excess fried shell at the end of the meal. Hidden underneath the squid is a «mango salad» that is about the size of a hockey puck. I put«mango salad» in quotes because, although it is advertised as such, there were only four sugar cube-sized pieces of mango in the salad. There was supposed to be a peanut dressing, but I detected no hint of it. The restaurant is nice and seems like it means well, but perhaps next time I’ll try a pizza or a calzone!

Being known for being a «salad place», you would think that you could have a healthy lunch here. Despite being clearly overpriced, the outlook on healthy food draws people in regardless of the high price tag. Unfortunately, however, healthy food is nowhere in sight. the only thing that looked good to me on the menu was a chicken salad. When it arrived i realised that the chicken was breaded and deep fried! being gluten intolerant with a deep dislike of fried food, this was not the tasty option i would have hoped for. The orders of my friends were no better, the chef salad being lumps of cheese with salad only used as decoration. the only thing that was half way decent were the salmon fish cakes. if you want a healthy meal, this is NOT the place to go. you might as well go to Burger King or McDonalds and pay a fraction for similar food. or your local chippy. I can’t, however, fault the service, which was excellent.

Perfect place for lunch in the Canary Wharf. Make reservation though as the place was packed. Huge and immensely tasty calzone is the way to go. Have yet to try their other dishes, but that one definitely wins the cake!

This is definitely the best pizza I’ve had in London! The staff was friendly and the service good, though I was a bit miffed that my party of two was seated at the bar though at least one two person table remained open throughout our meal. The thin-style pizza was reasonably priced and very tasty. The only complaint about the food I have is that although the edge of the crust was crispy, the bottom was pure chewiness. Of course, this could be a matter of preference, but I like it crispy just on the bottom shell, so that it can be folded and retain some form, while still having some chewiness. The manager was receptive to comment, and I will definitely be returning!
