Hardware stores here can be little holes in the wall, with piles of stuff all heaped on each other with little rhyme or reason, and Romany’s is no exception. And for something as normal as a couple of screws, nuts and bolts, I expect that stuff to just be sitting there, so I barged in and started taking a little tour of the back-store(hey, it didn’t look like the back store) until the guy behind the counter sternly told me to «knock it off.» Apparently you have to ask for every little thing at the counter. Well, it was less efficient than I would have wanted, having to explain everything and decide on size through an interpretor, but I got my bits and pieces pretty fast and was out of there satisfied enough. But I’m sure there’s a hardware store out there that lets you get tactile with your parts. right? Anyway, they did seem to have a large inventory back there and were helpful, so try em out.
