Absolutely wonderful community garden taking of an acre of land nestled between Kennington terraces. It provides a range of fantastic habitats with greenhouses, meadow, ponds and beehives. An on-site shop sells honey from their apiary, and an assortment of organic goodies. The gardens are often used for school visits but ‘Joe Public’ is generally constrained to open days — though these are well worth a visit if you’re in the area, as the gardens are fantastic and the Roots & Shoots lot always lay on a lot of stalls, talks, and other tidbits.
