This has changed ownership again and is now called The Wandle Trail. It calls itself a bar and shisha restaurant. What is shisha? No real ales on sale yet but there is one hand pump. Varied food menu includes piri piri chicken, pasta, grills and seafood. It is a bit expensive though. The décor is an improvement on the previous purple paintwork.

Then Rose and Crown is Superb. Coming from yorkshire, I am used to Beer being A bit cheaper than normal London Prices. This pub, which is not a wetherspoons, is the cheapest in our area, at a mere £2.40 for a pint of lager. Despite the price, the qality of the beer isnt comprimised although for those real ale fans there isnt much choice on that account. However, this pub really comes alive when the football is on, with 3 main screens there is plenty of viewpoints to catch the action, and the atmosphere is electric, which leads to more drinking. The bar staff are superb, very friendly, and a karaōke night one night a week is a great laugh. Bad points include no it box machine, a must in the modern pub.

This is an interesting pub to say the least. If you like to see some characters whilst having a pint this is the place to go. the prices are fair and quite cheap. The barstaff are good and polite and some of the barmaids are good looking as well. Good place to watch the football you can take you pick from 1 of 4 screens.
This is a great place to start your evening but maybe not so great for ending it.
