Royal Overseas league is a piece of history. It is one of its kind! In 1910 it allowed women to join the club alongside men! Scandalous but very avant garde.
Currently there is an exhibition of young Thai artistes they are amazing!
The building is ornate of great historic significance and a joy to behold!
I had the most interesting evening with some of the regular members. They made us all feel very welcome.
If you are in SW1 do stop by have a lovely cocktail a snack.
If you call ahead you can have a tour of the place and of course if you are looking for place to stay you can enquire about the hotel .
Highly recommended.
