Well, it was incredibly packed, noisy, and more night club like than a lounge. The coat check was inadequate.
Not impressed with the range of drinks they carried. They only had 2 Tiger or Corona for beer and not much of a selection for wine either. So be open to other possibilities.
Décor was nice, Music was too loud to have a conversation with the person next to me.
And I did not see a staff member on the floor to pick up after empty glasses or spills. After a while the tables and sitting areas were ridiculously cluttered with unclaimed empty glass. A bit declassé really. Maybe it was a bad night?

The drinks weren’t great. The bar was too crowded on a Saturday night — not much of a Lounge if you ask me.
I mean, when was the last time you went to an actual ‘lounge’ and couldn’t hear the person next to you.
The place was packed… ‘Rumi’ is a misnomer haha.

Hmmm kewl place. I liked the décor, the drinks and the staff.
The DJ last night was kewl. He working it on his mixer. What I liked about him was he was scratching it well with some lovely mashups … Some of his tune were not my style … but in all it was very enjoyable.
I did find the crowd very segregated even in a small location like this. I am not sure if this is Chelsea thing !!! but I have not seen this in other parts of London .
I am probably not going to go back.

This is the kind of relaxed atmosphere that I look for in every bar that I go to.
The dim lights, candles, laid back lounge décor, wonderful cocktails and chillout music is as near perfection as you can get.
With slightly concealed seating areas throughout the bar it is easy enough to sink into the seats and forget that there is anyone else around. Head here on a week day for a truly relaxing night.

Very elegant, yet non-precocious place. Staff and Manager dedicated to making it a good night for you. The front door is a little too eager to be choosy, but if you have a problem ask for the owner, he’ll take care of it for you. Drink prices are average. No one is trying to grind you from behind. Lighting is perfect. Effort is put into the décor to exude luxury. Music is chill-out and up-to-date creative, easy to talk over. Free on Fridays before 11 if send them your names by email.

This smart bar serves (very) expensive drinks (although fairly strong), the atmosphere is a bit cold, but once the music gets going and the bar is packed then everything changes and is in full swing. Rumi attracts an older crowd than Crazy Larry’s next door.
