ruxley manor garden centre

We went to Ruxley Manor for the ice rink, and little I knew there was such a wonderful world in there. It was really a surprise for me, since I didn’t expect the beautiful Christmas market, the amount of people during a weekday and the amazing delicatessen where they offer so many tasty products, all of very god quality.
I don’t give it 5 stars because of three things: we were disappointed we couldn’t get into the ice rink due to the amount of people, they don’t have a proper bicycle parking and, even though at first I was excited about seeing the reindeer, I think animals shouldn’t be kept locked in such tiny spaces. Reindeer are herd animals that migrate through extensive areas. It was a bit sad to see them.
Anyway, the rest of the place is very cool. We bought some Christmas decorations and some things for the plants, and had delicious pies. Really nice place.

Great place the have a walk around. Especially at this time of year. The effort that must of been put in to the Christmas decorations is outstanding. ;)

I love ruxley as you can buy flowers, trees, bird food, vegetables, meat, bbq, garden furniture, candles etc from here

I’ve been one of the faithful for many years.
There is a newly opened restaurant now which serves salads, hot meals and freshly made pizzas. It is licenced so you can have a glass of wine with your meal as well!
Plants, flowers, garden equipment and furniture plus some more unusual exhibits like Chickens and lizards!
They hold gardening ’ Talks’ and these can get booked up very early!
In the October half term a circus visits and tickets are only available on-​line and at a very reasonable price!
Christmas I think is their flag ship and they go all out for the WOW factor Grotto, real reindeers that you can stroke which also live all year round at Ruxley!
I could go on and on Better idea!

Ruxley Garden centre is a little bit more than the average Garden centre. There is n extensive range of the usual things you would expect to find here, such as plants, sheds, garden furniture, etc — but also there is a wonderful shop with unusual gifts, candle, books kitchenware, even some outdoor clothing.
You really could spend a few hours here as there is also a pet centre which includes a large aquatic department, you can spend ages just staring at the fish!
There is also a shop selling organic produce, jams, etc, which has some very nice looking food items in there. I find some of the prices can be a little on the expensive side but you could spend a couple of hours walking around here and not get bored. There is a large car park so parking is not a problem.
Most recently opened at the centre is Cyril’s coffee shop which is great for a coffee and a light lunch or snack.

I love going to Ruxley manor garden centre. There’s plenty of disabled parking and parking for everyone else. There’s a little shop selling home grown organic produce and a little ice cream stall in the summer. They stock a wonderful array of plants, shrubs, trees etc and it’s a great place to go for a stroll even if you’re not going to buy. The indoor section has garden furniture, seasonal displays, especially good at christmas and a wonderful stock of fountains and garden water features all working so that you can see what you will be buying. They also have a great tropical fish store where you can walk around and see lots of pretty fish. Easy to get to on the old A2 on the way to Swanley.

This is a large garden centre, the most widely known in the area and for good reason. You can get just about anything garden related here, with a great selection of plants, flowers, bushes, trees, shrubs, all kinds of greenery. A wide selection of patio furniture is also available, including fountains and other water features.
A full selection of landscape gardening materials is stocked including ponds, decking and patio paving. There is plenty here to keep you occupied for a day, the staff are always willing to help and good at their jobs!
If you are developing your garden in the local area this is a must visit location, recommended!

This garden centre always stocks good quality plants, they are always healthy specimens and well cared for. There is a good range of garden ornaments and patio furniture, they also stock wild bird food and nesting boxes. there is a huge variety of landscaping accessories including paving, stoneware and decking. The staff are helpful and knowledgable and it is a very pleasant place to spend an afrenoon.

I love this place! They have a very well laid out centre, but I think its amazing at christmas. The amount of ornanments I have from there from when I was a little girl. They do a wide range of christmas ornanments and gifts that are really cheap for the quality and really nice. Although I don’t go often I go at least twice a year! This year I will be going as in December they are going to have reindeer. So aswell as a garden centre, they are brilliant at christmas too!
