Great little independent Optitions. It’s been operating on Kilburn High Road for 30 years. Until recently it was tucked away, but had to move when the lease expired. Probably the best thing to happen to it. I had never even noticed it when it was in its previous position.
My last pair of Tom Ford glasses from a high end chain cost me £500, which I actually lost attending a Unilocal event (another story!). I came here a while back and asked if I already had a frame, could they fit the lenses for me. They said that they could. I ordered a pair of Tom Ford’s online at a cost of £140. This optician advised me that the lense would be £165. I came in with frame and prescription from my previous optition. One week on, I’m not the proud owner of a pair of Tom Ford glasses at £305 compared to £500 for my previous pair. I’m one happy chappy!
I was really impressed with the service I received. They also said that if I found a frame liked from another optician, to give them the serial number. They advised that they could probably purchase them for me at 20% less than the RRP.
Thay are also open on a Sunday, which is very handy.
