One of the best pizza’s I have had outside of Italy. A big statement I know but once you enter this restaurant the amazing smell of the dough is so enticing that you feel like you are sitting somewhere in Italy. The pizza that i always go for is the Buffalina and it does not disappoint. Its a little on the basic side of pizza toppings as it is just the tomato sauce and the buffalo mozzarella, however i think this simple combo lets you enjoy the true flavour of the pizza. The staff are always friendly and the place is always busy so book in advance if you intend to venture for evening dinner.

Fantastic ambience! As a vegan, I wouldn’t normally choose a pizza place for dinner, but after a long day of traveling, I just wanted something nearby. I’m glad those circumstances led me to Sacro Cuore. They have a marinara pizza on the menu — an easy option for vegans, no explanation necessary — which was simple and delicious. The house wine was good and the service excellent. This was no culinary revelation, but a great setting for a nice evening and sometimes that’s all you need.

Nutella & Almonds Pizza. Do I need to tell more? Really? Ok, friendly people, good service, amazing food, you can even take away. Best pizzas in the area, by far.

Good pizza. Very prompt service. Simple décor. Good value for money. Pizza crust is tasteful though I personally prefer thinner. A reasonable quick eat in this neighbourhood. Toilets are clean.

We went here on a spontaneous meal out after we discovered that The Diner had closed down. We weren’t disappointed; the aubergine parmigiana was delicious, the pizza was fantastic(awesome dough) and the prices were quite reasonable. The stylish seating area adjacent to the open kitchen even had some dub playing, which gave it added points on the chill out scale. Would definitely recommend!

I must admit, I’m slightly weirded out by the negative reviews for this venue because I could only find one minor fault with the service, location, food, and space. One thing to understand is that the pizza served here is traditional Neapolitan pizza. This means that the base is going to be a bit more doughy. Ordering your base«well done» as a previous reviewer did is completely sacrilegious. I am sure a few eye rolls were had when those special instructions came through to the pizza maker. Now let’s talk about that base, shall we? It’s perfect for Neapolitan pizza. Slightly burnt on the edges and doughy in the middle. My husband and I ordered the diavola and the margarita with sausage and both were delicious, making us part of the«clean plate club»! The house wine(I had the white) was good. Probably better because it was a beautiful day and we were seated at a table by the deck and the floor-to-ceiling windows were open to allow for a nice breeze to flow through the restaurant. Service was good though the minor fault was that there were three people who arrived after we were seated(and had ordered) who placed take away orders and all three of those orders were filled before we received our food. That’s not a good thing considering the pizza only takes a few minutes to make and cook. As far as I’m concerned, Sacro Cuore serves up some of the best pizza in London, if not the best. Other contenders are Santa Maria(owned by the same peeps as Sacro Cuore), Homeslice, and Saporitalia. Pizza East doesn’t even come close in comparison to the pizzerias above. Too much hype and just average food but you know what, keep going to Pizza East if that’s your thing and leave the better pizza joints for the rest of us.

Local sports group and we’ve enjoyed going there for a few months now. Good pizza and decent value overall. Yesterday a group of 14 went in, most of us only wanted drinks and small handful were for pizza. The waitress balked at the idea of our group being at the restaurant due to the lack of pizza orders. I would 100% understand if the restaurant was busy or booked for reservation, but it was 100% empty. It was a stupid business decision on her part, as when we passed by after having drinks and some food across the road it was still fully empty. Of the many times I’ve gone there I have probably had 1 bad pizza, but I definitely won’t be suggesting this place anymore. I’m still shocked by the dumb business decision, a half full restaurant drinking coffee with a few pizzas always looks better than an empty one. When a few people order food from the table, others can change their mind to order as well. Opportunity sale completely lost, awesome?

Really good local gourmet pizza spot. A variety of authentic Italian toppings and combinations. Great base that is served by default as soft with a crisp edge. I order mine well done. Highly recommend this place.

Maybe the hype was too much about the quality of these pizzas or maybe we were unlucky. Burnt on the outside, soggy in the middle — oven too hot? Pizza options were great though and a buzzing atmosphere.

Sacro Cuore is a nice and light little resaurant near Kensal Rise Overground station. The kitchen is in one corner of the restaurants, so if you are really interested in food, you can easily peak over the chefs’ shoulders. For some reason, I do not know exactly why, this place reminds me a little bit of Pizza East which is probably not a bad thing. They have a small outside seating area, which seems to be drinking and waiting area, as there are no tables. Whatever this is for, it looks nice and with one entire front open, it ensures a nice breeze on a warm summer’s day. When I was there for dinner on a Saturday evening, Sacro Cuore was quite busy with a mixed crowd. I really liked the atmosphere. But I must say, depending on your mood and how fussy you are, you could probably find a number of faults with the pizza. You might find the pizza too thin, a little bit burnt and too soft and soggy at the same time, or the toppings too sparsely, and while I would not disagree that this was probably not the best pizza in my life, I simply liked it the way it was. And it was huge as well; a bit smaller would do for me. I had a white wine with my pizza and must say, I also quite liked it. You have not much choice if you order by the glass, actually, you can only order their house wine, but when the house wine tastes fine, I am happy with that. For dessert, the Nutella pizza was very tempting, but after my Pizza Bufala, I could not have another pizza, so I went instead for some ice cream. Sacro Cuore serve Oddono’s( ) ice cream I am not entirely sure whether I tasted it before at another place or not, I had definitely heard about it. Honestly, I found the strawberry sorbet a little bit too sweet, but the stracciatella was fabulous. All in all, I can recommend Sacro Cuore. The pizza might not be for everyone, but it’s a lovely little and buzzy restaurant that’s worth a visit. And when you have emptied your plates, you could enjoy a little walk in the leafy and suburban neighbourhood that feels so different from central London, despite actually being in the middle of zone 2.

Very good pizzas. The quality of the ingredients is top notch. The dough in particular exceptional. The menu is slightly limited, but they focus on what they do best. Service is very good, and the manager is particularly friendly. For the price, this place is miles better than its competitors.

went with group of friends … we all really wanted to like this long-awaited addition to the QP-Kensal Rise area. unfortunately pizzas still need a bit of re-thinking and tinkering. middles are too soggy and calzone has a very odd mixture of ricotta cheese instead of mozerella. result is a mushy tasteless mess. lots of hard surfaces which creates a noisey restaurant — and too many undisciplined screaming kids(!) while their parents ignore their ill-behaved sprogs. gad — a night out without the kids might be the last place you want to have others’ screaming kids ruining the night. may try take away one last time, but otherwise its a bit of a disappointment unfortunately. tables too tightly packed in; should open up large back garden for al fresco dining — we might have hung out awhile longer and had another bottle or two of wine, desserts, coffees, … they are missing a trick or two here.
