We got 4 biers and Shisha total for £40. Shisha was good quality and staff is friendly. They have 5 tables outside and a nice-looking restaurant space inside. We enjoyed it.

Overpriced — food not that great, service okay.

Good for a light bite or full on mixed grill and big group to share with. Loads of stuff on the menu to satisfy all aspects of typical lebanese cuisine. Finish off with a Moroccan tea and shisha on the terrace and the amazing fresh Arabic sweets

Food at Sahara is excellent, the humus is delicious as is the roast lamb. Very friendly service, perfect for kids and families. The only thing is the shisha smoke — try not To sit in the back room. Fresh veg is delivered to every table as a starter which is fab!

The place is not that famous but it has a certain potential. It was a month ago the last time I was here and as I remember it, the food was more than good and we had a lovely time at brunch.

Set in a very stylish part of St Johns Wood, this restaurant looked good and was authentically Lebanese with Lebanese staff. The food and service were disappointing. Service was surly and moody and the food was not great. The homous was tasteless, the pickles underwhelming and the meat was tough. The makanek sausages were however delicious. I also take offence for being charged £4.49 for really badly marinated pickles. Wine is also really overpriced. I would go back to have a wrap as a takeaway but wouldnt go back to eat again. Disappointed.

A new Lebanese restaurant in St John’s Wood. The menu contains traditional Lebanese dishes, but all such establishments are unique in how they present them. My favourites include a variety of traditional cheeses and meat and vegetable pastries to start with, as well as Lahem Meshwi of grilled lamb cubes, or Shish Taouk of marinated kebabs of chicken with garlic sauce and pepper for the mains. Most dishes are prepared to a generally high standard and the staff are very helpful. If you live in the vicinity of this area and enjoy Mediterranean cuisine, this wonderful restaurant is definitely worth a try.
